Cool, sounds like we will all be on these tyres soon
-
Might be worth phoning your local tyre place, on both occasions that I have bought MPSS in recent years there has been a promotion from Michelin giving cashback in form of a gift card for fuel , £25 per tyre usually
Good call, i got that last time i bought tyres at the local garage

Have a great and well deserved holiday
-
Tyreleader were the best I could find £803 for a full set. I'll order this weekend.

I think this is an awesome event, well done Stu. I know Ebized and Glrnet went on similar experiences and they said it changed their perception of driving. Hopefully they will dive in here and provide some feedback

Nope mine is very quiet. Could there be something loose in there or in the mechanism that caused the damage you mentioned in the other post?
Get it down to Sly at kaizer motors if you can or give him a call to seek advice.

Sorry to hear this. I have never heard of a tear happening naturally on the 370z roof, unlike the 350, so to me it does sound like it was vandalised or something has accidentally caused the damage. Only issue I have seen is wearing of the roof above the doors by the windows where the roof didn't align which is different to your problem.
Unless they are roof specialists with experience of the the 370 roof I would steer clear. The roof is fitted via laser alignment in the factory, any slight misalightment due to replacement or adjustment will likely cause the wearing issue above. I know of one member who went through 3 different roof fits this way.
Nissan enginners go through a specific training course to deal with roof issues so I would be looking for one of those. One person to contact is Sly at kaizer motors to see what he would recommend.
A quick fix patch or something, although not ideal, may be a safer and far cheaper option.

Cant wait to hear yours mate, that V8 burble

It would be nice to have a thread that doesn't devolve into one up man ship on trivial points.
Healthy debate is fine but debates for the sake of debating get quickly boring and off topic.
I think this thread has run its course

Nice pics, love the look of your zed, and the gtr looks awesome

Yup I'll get a set of 35s and see how they go, keen to see how good these mps4s are on the Austria passes

Dam, confirmed via the Michelin they don't do a MPS4s for 245/40r19. Pity as the linked review shows it's a step up all around on the MPSS.
so it looks like it's back to the MPSS all round or mix 4s rear and MPSS on the front
-
Well looks like Rosie needs 4 new shoes ready for another roadtrip.
Loved the MPSS, but seems they are hard to get now, especially for the fronts. Maybe time to try out the MPS4
Will don't forget you want the MPS4-S which are available in 19" for Rosie.
Yup thanks meant to post that. I can find the 4S for the rear but looks like Michelin don't do the 4s for the front 245/40R19

Welcome to the club.
Feel free to ask any questions here.

A nice roadtrip or two down south and over the sea. Can't wait.

Welcome to the club.
I had a milltek exhaust and HFCs on my 350 and loved that combination
-
Lots of options and lots of traders on the forum who would be able to provide some options.
I recommend you have a look at the meets close to you and go along to hear some exhausts in the flesh, far better than listening to youtube.
Personally i bought the stillen exhaust and love the note of the car now, perfect as you get a nice burble when you put your foot down but its perfectly civilised when you want to cruise

Just to reinforce the message, as noted elsewhere on the forum, be careful letting non specialists deal with the 370 roof.
I know of one case where the roof adjustements/replacements caused the roof to become misaligned and the member went through a painful process of having 3 subsequent roofs fitted and each one caused gradual wearing of the material near the windows. They are fitted by laser and have to be dealt with by specialists. Sly at kaizer motor for example.
Hope you get it sorted.

Could you get an extensive price list (for different clothing and embroidery / printing)?
We're looking to sort some team wear for our FS team, not 100% on requirements yet, but currently something like this has been suggested:
Might also be interest for formal shirts / t-shirts / hoodies etc too.
Plus an idea of any bulk discounts would be nice.
As this is not forum related can you take it off line please and keep this thread on topic.
Good luck though
-
Thanks for the input, I'll speak to him at some point this week and find out what kind of price it'd be, and research postage prices. I'll see if I get can a sample made up and post images on here.
Great, we look forward to hearing more.

It has come up numerous times in the past (particularly for specific events) and some clothes have been produced by traders from the forum.
It's a good idea and there has been interest from the members. The team are discussing your thread and if you are interested in taking it further please contact one of the team and we can look to take things further as a trader on here.
