Any of the gubbins from underneath? AC control box and head unit mounting / securing bracket??

My air con is faulty, At lowest setting (18 deg) its fine yet if I turn up 1 degree it goes mad hot. Anyone got a control unit? .jpg] Hoping by changing out control unit behind the dials that it may resolve. Where is thermostat, any ideas.

It seems the previous owner of my car has butchered the head unit securing bracket under the centre console. Securing new head unit is not possible . Any one know wher I can lay my hands on factory securing mount like the one shown? .jpg]

Ok this is a long shot. I bough a car last week and it seems that the air con is goosed. When at 18 degrees its fine but as soon as it goes over even by 1 degree it goes mad hot. usual bollo$65 when you buy a car, stuff that you expect to work doesn't. Oh while were on the subject, there is two buttons for heated seats on centre console. Tried and low and behold no bloddy heat, no lights on switches either.......... Is it me, cant help but but a sh*t box trying to save a penny... What to do?? Take to dealer and spend ££££

Ok cheers buddy, sounds reasonable................................................but wait, surely we are talking 3 - 4 k, no? Don't necessarily want to rape a mustang........ok bulloks, yes i do. No really, I want it to be more responsive (go faster) if possible without mucho cash spent. If i could afford and i planned on raceing mustangs then yep i'd happily shell out thousands, but this is my run around for work, so i told the wife anyway. I guess its as simple as "you get what you pay for"...I just need some guidance on where to start really. Want to run b4 i can walk i guess...plenty bhp for cheapness. Also need to keep go faster mods discreet (ish).

Excuse me for being a muppet but can anyone put this in laymans terms?? Just got a 03 fairlady, doing some simple mods inc exhaust, wheels, sound system etc although really need to think about under the bonnet, it just seems a little slow of the throttle. Can anyone give a simple soloution to gain that rapid acceleration and power we all want (Im driving to work and back not racing)??? Remap?? even remap is foreign but at least if you say get it remapped and it costs 350 quid for extra 30BHPN then i know where i stand. Just had a custom exhaust fitted and now thinking whats all this talk about performance vs bits n bobs................is my exshuast @*!# i wonder. All i know is i tried to keep up with brother in laws mustang (4.8 supercharged mo fo) today and failed miserably . Don't like failure......how do i make it go faster like now? ????????????????? HELP!

Will the self adhesive plates work ok without a fixing bracket, particularly on front?? Stick straight onto front bumper maybe? If not where do I get a bracket to acommodate cut down front plate, or uk shape plate, Oh and how do I cover the bloody holes at back....get a custom cut plate wider at top than bottom???

Can anyone tell me the rear number plate size I should order for my rear 350z fairlady? Just bought car and headed of to work for a few weeks. Want to order new plates before I get home but not sure exact size. Also what about changing front plate from square to standard rectanglular. Whats the best method of fitting to hide fixing brackets, same for back, the little black brackets look crap.

Where can I find me an Aerosync N-Style bumper and some smooth skirts (not nismo). And a back bumper, kinda rounded. Similar in style to pics below. This red will be my z very soon, or a bit like it. Found wheels last week just like it on e-bay before finding this pic....its just confirmed my idea. Only problem is the 35 offset not 20.... Damn Wondering if powder coat guys can do a red rim like this on a refurb job. Oh and black handles, anyone got any for sale??

The blackpool dude I bought the car from was shocked the exhaust was not there , his wifes car and seemingly they were not aware the exhaust was missing . I phoned him the day before to ask the question, was it a split pipe exhaust....to which he answered no, its a single pipe all the way through and sounds great he said.............yeh right. Thanks for the info Jay, will be intereting to know who the paint guy is in Ayrshire and your right Giffnock aint too far away. Husky. with regards the exaust, I had thought of a scorpion after reading forums on here however seller on ebay advised it would not fit (larkspeedperformacecentre), which i have my doubts about. However the cost was around 330 and i then came across this guy http://www.mjcustomexhaustsayrshire.co.uk/ He said he would custom fit a full stainless system to whatever design and sound for 350. Got it booked in in a couple of weeks when i get back from rigs

Hello folks, just purchaced my first 350z (old 03 fairlady). Not too bad but needs some tlc and hope you all can help with your knowledge. Heres my new hobby (well car for work), looks ok from distance but on closer inspection the exhaust back end is no where to be seen, the wheels are shabby as hell and it needs some interior and exterior tart up. .jpg] .jpg] Any idea where I can get a lip spoiler to start my project? Want a nice kit, subtle mind, not too much. But a bit strapped for readys at the moment. What about someone who can work with the car in the Ayrshire area or a little further a field. Mechanically and mainly cosmetically i.e. skirts painted intsalled etc. And lastly should I have wheels refurbed or start again with new............how would black look I wonder.

Hello there, my names Craig . New to this, and newto 350z's. Got myself a 350z fairlady last week, 03 chilli red. Got it home to Ayrshire from Blackpool to find the back section of exhaust gone. So, my initial idea to replace wheels and add spoiler has been put on hold. I have some ideas I would like to put to you all, let me know if you would agree or not. Looking to tart up a little, not too much just subtle changes make it look more eye catching. Firstly the exhaust needs done, a guy from Kilmarnock has advised he will do a full custom stainless exhaust system to my spec (shape and sound) for around the same price as a scorpion back section (3-350 ish). Sound like value for money. Any reason why not???? www.mjcustomexhaustsayrshire.co.uk Next I want to upgrade the tatty wheels, nice ones on it but rather shabby.
