I owned a RS 197 with cup pack (2008), made in a different factory to the normal ones, but it was awesome. The 1.2 turbo engine isn't as fuel efficient as the figures though I've read a lot on clio forums, plus my folks had that engine in their modus and found the same.

Anyone here owned a lux 924 or 944? I am thinking about going down the classic route and getting one, they seem a decent price for a decent example, seem to be reliable and the running costs aren't bad, especially the 2.0 924 without the Porsche engine. Plus I'd like to start working on a car, another reason why I am leaning towards the 924 lux.

I always uses black circles too, I tend to get a price from there then phone around locally, most of the time black circles is the cheapest though.

I had a look, they are just a 3rd party set, did 350zs ever come with them as standard? I will probably disconnect, or leave as it is as I cannot see an issue.

My sensors just beep constantly when put into reverse now, does anyone have any idea if this is an issue where they need cleaning or anything? Is there anything I can try before taking it to a dealer?

I think its an amazing price, this is an awesome car, I truly love it. Instead of driving this, I have to drive an X reg Kia Pride, imagine that!! It cost me £300, and is a rust bucket, but circumstances change.

This is still for sale, its still in London, reduced to a bargain £6999 ono now, has the new exhaust fitted and I drove it a bit at Christmas and I wish I didn't have to sell but circumstances are forcing me to now really as my new job doesn't pay great and my girlfriend wants to train to be a nurse so times are going to be hard.

A scraped front splitter must be part and parcel of owning a sports car to a point, but going slowly over bumps should be fine in most cars unless lowered to a ridiculous point!

Well, if I keep it, I'll be transferring it back to me, plus he doesn't live near me etc, I'll be up north and he'll be in London and not using it! But yeah, I thought it would be the date of putting it back in my name, thanks for confirming that people!
