it is was me, i would skip the SRP, it has loads of fillers in, that's all. in which case you may as well not use your LP. The lime prime preps the paint ready for a wax, so if you pile on SRP it defeats the object of a pre wax cleanser in my opinion.

After I machine polish a car (hence I asked what you meant by polish) i'd either use a pre wax cleanser or alcohol wipes to get rid of any silicons or other chemicals.

yes you will be fine. It has some very mild abrasives in compared to the lite stuff.

I have to ask though, what do you class as a polish?

I always wondered what the bloody noise was, will try pressing the clutch in next time.

they are great, they fit underneath even my 350z and that's saying something.

Why the hell do I seem to think the Mattig Astra is cool. Everything about it should tell me no. Like the crazy wide rear wheels on a front wheel drive car, Its Ford wannabe whaletail. But its kinda retro cool haha. Do I need to visit the quacks?

I'm reasonably close to the show being in Bedfordshire. I know there are lots of guys around this way. I don't know what direction you are coming from as my head is no clued up on uk geography lol

if its a Peterborough show ground the weather doesnt matter too much, as I'd have said a large percentage of the show would be indoors. No excuses

cheers guys was a cracking car to work on. I forgot to say that the owner had taken the fuse out that controls the active exhaust thingy, when you revved it it sounded flipping amazing! No V12 but still incredible

take the roof rack off, and a rusty style beetle can look good, but mainly old american cars are the only ones that pull it off. They need to be old enough to look like they may have aged like that naturally.
