Most likely, some of the traders have quite a history of 'going off on one' at anyone who dares to offer a similar service or a better deal... I thought that was how the world worked I mean if Alan Sugar or Richard Branson decided to sell Zed parts I expect they could even undercut Adrian

Fair comment, but why shouldnt it be our business as part of the forum when we have (perhaps) been interacting with them, the forum is as much about the members as it is the team.

Well I would say that if it was something that put other members at risk ie dodgy dealing then it would be up to the team to make an announcement. If it was for general abuse or such like then it's up to the member themselves to let people know what happened, if they are unable to because their only point of contact was the forum then I would say they are hardly a close friend

I would bet my left nut there isnt one person on this planet who thought, i really want that "ferrari, lambo, aston, porsche or any other exotica" but f*ck it, i want to offset my tax so will buy a Tesla If you can afford one of the above, you wont care a toss, your not buying it because it makes sense, in fact, quite the opposite.

I haven't asked them to post their exact route, timetable and itinerary. I just thought it was strange, based on what I've seen on other forums, that they haven't planned some sort of "meet" with other oop-norf members to coincide with their trip.

 

It was just an observation and it does come across very cliquey to an outsider.

Oh FFS - each to their own! This was a mates holiday - not a z meet! And they did invite / offer / organise to meet up with some of us Scots (I don't know what the feck has gone on in my abscence vis-a-vis George - and am surprised he wasn't included in the Scot's invitation though).

Ladz - when you're finally home get the rest of the photos up - they have certainly made my weekend

OK chaps, I am closing the list there.

 

I had been thinking about numbers and where to draw the line, not expecting so many people would actually show interest.

 

I am assuming 2 others are joining, 8 is plenty for this trip. I have met most people on the list too which helps, so STLZ and Toothy - have you meet anyone else on the list ? !!

 

I may have a passenger seat available in my car, will advise later, not sure if anyone else has.

 

The trip detail will not be posted on the forum, I would prefer to go off pm too and onto email, easier for longer messages and attachments etc. If those on the list so far would pm me their email addresses and contact telephone numbers please. Location would be good too.

 

For all others it would be great if other forum folk would meet us ad hoc en route joining us for evening/dinner meets perhaps.
