That's why i only fill up in little amounts every other day, don't seem as much......... & i get to see the lovely Bev on the checkout wotsit Bev at shell in barny?!..... i did a trip to anglesey 220 miles and used half a tank some traffic but got 36 mpg sat at 56mph following my mates old mini though, longest. drive. ever. sat at 70 on the way back and did some of the welsh roads while i was down there, averaged 32mpg, did around 600 miles to the tank (uk car)

@matt where in durham are you living? Openreach (aka cable side of BT) are doing FTTC over a few area's at the min but not a great deal of them as it's fairly expensive, all of the locations they choose are service provider driven to so it realy could be anywhere. Theres some right hell holes that are getting it in the north east just because of the potential customers they have in large housing areas where people sit on there arses most of the time Even if your a fair distance from your local cabinet that has been upgraded to fibre you should see a bit difference as it's bascily putting the exchange in the cabinet. As for the 24mb thats jsut due to new exchange equipment, but as said before if your miles away from the exchange (or on a aluminium cable) you wont see much difference as the the line loss will still be to great. 100gig in 2 weeks, that's a HUGE amount of p*rn, i think you'd need the other 2 weeks off for recovery

I had this problem in my old office, even though no one at all could see my screen i always got accused of not doing work etc. Only 4 of us in my new office and we all get on great so there isn't a problem there, People outside the office still accuse me and a few lads of not doing as much work as everyone because we're in a smaller office, think they're just jealous because we have a friendlier environment tbh haha! My old manager used to think i did nothing but play on my phone and browse the net, and again that was purely because of what people say and not know. My advice would be have a word with your manager, the way i see it he should know his team and the stats say your a good worker so there shouldn't be a problem with you popping on here every now and again?

Cheers for the advice guys! Evest thanks for the excellent write up! I think the main things we're after is the learning and fitness aspect. I'll may try a few and see what i like, the hold/grappling styles don't really interest me tbh, more after something involving punching and kicking. I've start to swim and cycle regularly now and i feel it's doing wonders for me, i've had asthma all my life and the difference just in the breathing techniques has done me the world of good and i feel this could be the next step. As i say after the physical and mental aspect to it all, and again thanks for the replies!

Hey all, I noticed a few of you are into your martial arts and i was after some info, me and a few mates are thinking of taking up a martial art, but we're unsure which one. Could anyone give me some info on different types, what's available, we're after something hand to hand based defense, maybe something a bit different from the usual karate etc, but it's still an option. Just after some good info from guys that know what they're talking about really. hopefully it'll get me a bit fitter to Cheers.

+1 If joe bloggs can just say i was driving like a tw@t and his word be good enough, i may very well have an ASBO on the way....... dene, you would have got one in the s'charged CTR days at least! you drove that thing like you stole it i agree with the good cop bad cop comment, i've seen some police officers give a good wording to one of my mates when he was driving like a pr**k as they knew he'd calm down after, yet one gave me a warning because i pulled out of being parked at the side of the road and didnt see him, because he was doing about 90 off a round about, after giving me the harsh warning saying i was driving like a pr*ck he proceeded to do about 90 down the road and overtake 5 cars on a blind corner.... As per the original post, this is where i think people over a certain age should have to retake there test, as they wouldnt pass, if you did less that 55 in a 60 zone when on your test you'd fail for driving to slow and holding up traffic...
