Good post sorry this is a bit off topic but the silicone gel you mention where's best to get it from ? as my seals are not the best also when I go a certain speed the seal let's in lots of wind.

Can anyone give me a link please on cleaning the commutator on the window motor. Iv looked but can't seem to find it Took my car in for s valet today and spent 5 mind trying to close the window it would get half way and stop .

Hi all,

The last few times iv driven my z upon starting iv heard a squeak that seems to be coming from the rear the faster I drive the faster it gets kind of pointing me towards the wheels . But within 1 min of driving it's gone,say as soon as iv driven half a mile.Then after stopping for an hr I start the car again and the exact same happens. Iv visually checked the pads without removing the wheels and they seem ok. Going to check the wkend but any advice / guesses will be greatly appreciated.

Another good thing about the throttle controller is in wet/icy/snowy conditions you can set the controller to Eco7 and the car is a lot safer but it's like driving a 1.1 diesel

Gutted for u mate personally I'd go and speak to the boss about it be as calm as possible and show him the quality of the work and ask for it to be sorted

Talk Talk is a definite NO NO for me , had a bad experience when changing over to them took a month longer than they said went back to BT in the end

Started the car up this morning and whilst waiting for the windscreen to defrost I noticed my D1 spec controller was on Eco 3 . I was very suprised as it's always set at sp 4 .

Is it possible my car knew it was 0 deg outside so decided to change the setting to Eco 3 or have I forgotten and had a serious blonde moment, possibly changing it a few days ago as iv been away and not driven it.

Had something strange happen tonight with the zed and actually now I think about it, its happened before but I kinda ignored it.

 

Was sat stationary with engine on for over an hour and when I got out there was a puddle of liquid trailing down the road a little. It started (I think) just behind the passenger side from wheel. The strange thing is, the water level is fine, I'm sure its not oil and the wiper reservoir also seems to be fine... any idea where this is coming from ?

yeah mine says KM but is defenately reading MPH my km/l is reading 7.5 is this reading in km/l or miles per litre or MPG (i hope not). it does seem as if the dte is reading in KM as it goes up to nearly 600 when full. Can anyone confirm that it is just the speed that has been altered when it was converted to MPH after import.

 

Just worked out that 7.5km/l is around 21mpg in uk gallons which sounds about right to be seeing as it mainly town driving so looks like it just the speed which was changed in the centre pod how i dont know.
