Spotted a GM Coupe trying to get into the Ramada / Etap car park in salford quays last night and then on the pavement of the entrance this morning as I was leaving the hotel. Anyone on here?

The other thing that no-one has mentioned is that whatever garage is writing this statement has to be sure they have the knowledge to judge whether your alarm is working well enough. If it isn't then the insurance company could come back to them if your Zed goes missing. This will be why a lot of places didn't want to know about it

Yeah makes perfect sense. So who's up for the Camping Saturday night?

Definately let him know that you had given the car a good clean beforehand and know it wasn't there and that he's the only one that's been anywhere near it. He may admit to it and offer to pay. Like you said tho there's no proof so if he is an arse about it there's not a great deal you can do

Sorry to hear about this Mitch, you deserve better. Can't stand people that use things like Iraq as an excuse as to why they are acting like complete cocks. I have a few mates that are soldiers and it hasn't affected them. It does affect some and people just see it as an excuse they can use to get out of blaming themselves. Be strong and you'll find someone who deserves to be with ya
Just remember that every Frog ya kiss get's ya one step closer to ya Prince
Hi Ian , how's you I know the more I think what he blames his actions on the more it bugs me my bro in law spent a long time in Iraq n saw some awful things but has got on with life , yeah think it's just an excuse to mess with the heads of women he meets ,
I'm good thanks Mitch, how about yourself?
Yeah it's just an excuse so that it's not his fault by the sounds of it. He's admitted the real reason so if it was really Iraq he wouldn't have another reason

As for the OS, the question on whether you'll get 32 bit and 64 bit with your laptop. The answer will generally be No. If you buy OEM software you only get the one you buy. Laptops will generally come with OEM Operating Systems and as such will only be supplied with the one you buy. But as someone else said I wouldn't worry I'm running a 64 bit Windows 7 and as of yet I haven't had to try to find out how good the compatibility mode is as I haven't come across anything I need that doesn't run fine and I'm still using Office 2003 so it's not the latest software
As for speakers USB powered means your battery (if using the laptop on battery) will drain quicker. Also generally Mains powered ones will be better. I would go for a nice cheap(ish) 2.1 speaker system if it's for music

www.speedtest.net is what Virgin recommend you to use. If you've got the 50mb broadband that they supply apparently the only server they recon can test that properly on that site is the London server

Brilliant story & write up
So were you more worried when you were sliding towards the tree or when your gf was redlining it in the grass?

Anyone travelling down on the Sunday from the North West / West Midlands area?
-
Mac's will almost always be faster but be prepared they are also always more expensive
Mac's are generally used more for things like video editing, sound editing, image editing etc

I love my K1, however I will admit sometimes it is a bit awkward if your trying to be as quiet as possible
I.E. after dropping someone off late in a little cul-de-sac

Gd stuff, will tell them that they can come. Will I be parking with the club lot or isn't there an area for each club?
Is it £10 for the Sunday?

A guy at Cadwell was selling some 20" at Cadwell last weekend ...... Ian Leckowits (spelled wrongly .... sorry Ian) has his number ......... wheels sounded OK .....good price and same as MadMarky's
No worries mate
I have his number and if you are interested in them let me know and I'll PM it across
Here's what he's said to me about them:
"They are Ascari Penta 20" wheels (F 20*9 R 20*10) Rear tyres are worn on the inside but 3/4's of tread is good so may still be legal. Fronts are good. Just been Refurbed. I will check them all but I have only noticed the smallest few marks on 1 wheel. They are Cosmic Grey colour like Civic Type R's"

Reminds me of the mother in law
SCARY
Ok, how exactly? Is that what she looks like? If so, remember the comment of if ya wanna know what your wife is gonna look like, look at her mum. It might only be a matter of time before she changes into a clown

I have the HTC desire and absolutely love it. Mine's on Orange and the Orange build for it is a bit crap in that you can't un-install some of their stuff that you don't want but other than that not had any problems. I was considering the Storm2 before and then my mate got one. I tried it and absolutely hated the touch screen on it as it was more like a bit button with touch screen action than a proper touch screen

i did this by mistake in my mums car (automatic) the other day, was just moving it on the drive but it gave me such a shock i thought i had hit my zed. scared the crap out of me
I did a similar thing in an auto car. I had it as a courtesy car while my A4 was in at Audi having a problem looked at and I was picking my mate up, went to put the clutch in (about 30 minutes after picking up the car) and came to a very abrupt stop, had to then start off again and was then quized by my mate as to why i'd stopped about 30 foot further down the street than he was waiting for me, lol
