  1. You have PM :)

Hey mate, what's the condition of them like? Also how do fit them

The condition on the outside is still spot on mate, there are stone chips on the little face inside the wheel arch and a couple of chips in the door shuts, and no doubt on the underside.

And fitting wise they use all original holes and then just rivets in the door shut

  2. I'd be interested in these depending on how far east you are and if they'd fit in the Z

Hello mate, they 100% fit in a zed because that's how I picked them up  ,but you have to ride billy no mates as they go through the passenger footwell back, also I'm based in Tonbridge Kent TN9

  3. I at some point would like some Nismo N1 skirts at somepoint, have you not thought about getting the Nismo rear spats? and a Nismo N1 or N2 front bumper?

All depends on what rear bumper you were thinking of getting but whatever you do dont alter the side-skirts lol

I'm going to go for the chargespeed Rear bumper and the skirts work well with that, but the ings lip sits quite low and the sides don't really. So I'll probably go either ings sides or chargespeed. Also the Nismo fronts don't really do it for me. But I have been known to have odd taste

  4. Sorry if this is breaking any rules but these technically arn't for sale yet, this is only a Feeler thread but I'm thinking of selling my Genuine Nismo side skirts, these were bought from chilli red and the fit was spot on first time. Due to the nature and size of these they would only be collection from the south east of Kent. They would possibly be available in about a fortnight. and if your Zed is Blade silver( the fastest colour ) then they would't even need spraying, although there are a couple of chips in the door shuts and the face that sits in the front arch. Price wise I'm led to believe Nismo no longer make these new so they may be hard to come buy if you dont already have a set, Anyway i was thinking around £300, which is nearly what you would pay for a set of replicas.

Here's some pics, any comments welcome

  5. I agree that the stretch will look a bit gay but I think they should fit alright, maybe with an arch rolling session. Nicad put a set on the rear of his just before he got rid of it, but he had 25mm spacers on his as well :scare: and i think he was running a 265 tyre as well

So not much has gone on recently, had a wicked time at the Pod last Monday. Scored highest for ODC qualifying and the car performed awesomely :D

Only things I've been up to has been a little TLC from pod, few minor repairs and clean ups!

    One update however is getting the correct spacers for the rears - 25mm effectively making the rears 18x12 et. +5! Needs a slight flare but they sit perfect;

Having trouble with the other sides tyre leaking air so going to get that sorted and try to find the missing SC power

  6. I do understand stretched tyres look dangerous but in all honesty I've never really heard of one failing or just randomly coming off. I used to run a 205/40 16 on a 8 1/2j wheel on my fiesta turbo and handling wise it was brilliant.

I think heavier cars may suffer a little bit more from it though as it does seem to soften the tyre wall a bit, but personaly I can appreciate a well stanced motor with mild stretch on the tyres

  7. I saw it before they were removed and have to say the kit just looked to big for the car. I'm all for sleek body kits big wheels etc but I wouldn't put a kit on a car if it meant it had to remain with massive tyre to arch gaps  . Smaller kit bigger wheels and slammed and that would be a nice looking motor . Just my opinion though and as I get told all the time 'what do I know'

  8. Had an Identical problem with the rear BC coilovers on my s2000, they would knock when they were cold (worse in the winter, silent in the summer) and get better as they warmed up. I contacted BC and they were excellent, they sent me replacements and the noise vanished. Give BC Racing a call, they are very helpfull.

Cheers mate I'll give them a call. Were yours still in warrenty? As I think mine are out now. But it has happened from day one
