I had my gearbox oil changed recently. I bought the genuine oil 75w85 gl4 from Nissan in 1ltr bottles and had the molyslip added and the gear change is better then before.

Do you have any more pics of the spoiler by any chance mate? After seeing yours I'm thinking of fitting mine without the base now, and wanted to see a few more pics before I decide.

I had my auxiliary belts changed and now I am getting a squeel/rattle type noise. This wasnt present before. I got them done by an independant garage and the mechanic did mention that the tensioner on the idle pulley was seized that caused some problems while changing them, whether this has any significance or not. Does anyone know what the likely causes can be? Thanks for the help guys

After a search I know the gear oil should be 2.9ltr of 75w85 gl4, but does it make a difference if its semi or fully synthetic? On opies oils its recommends 75w90. Does it make a difference if I use 75w90?

Thanks guys I guess I'll go for the JL stuff, seems fairly reasonable, and will try and find someone who can do a good job of installing it at a reasonable price

I went back to CEL and they said they would match their website prices, but the labour is now £390+vat including mdf rings for the door speakers. He said I could either have mdf rings or plastic rings wrapped in dynamat. The guy said that it's a straight swap with either the 8 or 10" sub, and said they would dynamat the existing box and parts of the door. Is it really a straight swap or should I be worried that the guy doesn't know what he's talking about? I got a total of £1363.36 inc vat for the JL audio equipment above including fitting but without a rearview camera . If I want a camera it will be £40+vat just for fitting, I would probably be getting one from eBay as their cheapest one is around £100

I spoke to the guy a while ago and he said 2 kits for the rear lights and there would possibly be enough for the bumper lights too. I'm interested in this if someone else could confirm, I also want to do the front reflectors.

I had a feeling that could be a possibility, I noticed the steering wobble today and will check the wheel weights tomorrow in the daylight. Any other ideas as to what it could be?

I'm after a front lip for my '05 roadster. New or used. I'm swaying towards either the vs style or varis, preferably in carbon. I'm not a fan of the c west lip. If you have a front lip your looking to sell then let me know what you have.

Hi guys I'm getting some steering wheel wobble at high speeds. And at even higher speeds I'm getting some free-play about 10 degrees each side. It wasnt this bad 1-2,000m ago. I haven't changed anything since then. The car is standard apart from the 20" wheels but they have been on there for a year and this has only started about 1-2 months ago. I had an alignment done and all wheels balanced a few months ago, before this started. The tyre tread and pressure is fine. The steering wheel doesnt wobble on braking, just as I go faster it gets worse. Its not significantly bad but just wasnt like this before the snow weather. Any ideas on what I should check?

Yes they are rear but I think look alot better then a retrim on a standard seats. I find them alot more comfortable too. Before I bought my car I saw 3 other roadsters, 2 of which had these seats, 1 of them was an import with a motorised cubby that opened and closed automatically with the ignition and also displayed the rear view cam automatically when engaged in reverse gear. Something which I am interested in having done.

I've been wanting these seats with the tan leather n black mesh for a while but havent come across any since I have been looking. Anyone have a set available or willing to trade plus cash your way, I have the standard black leather heated seats?

Thanks again dblock and dave. You're right Dave to say I dont know alot about ICE. I was thinking of reading up as much guides and having a go myself, but now I'm thinking it wont be an easy task. I didnt realise I would have to make a new box for the sub, rather then it being a simple swap. The guy at CEL said it was a simple swap, so now I'm wondering whether he'll know what he's really doing. I didnt even attempt to install the HU and had that fitted for me. I'm frm Nottingham but don't mind travelling a little further if it'll be worth it, so any recommendations for a good fitter would be appreciated. I came across pics of this 350z with visible subs behind each seat and was wondering whether anyone has done something similar. I was thinking of having a sub behind each seat and making them visible

I can see what your saying. But I want to limit the amount of fibre glass on the car, and the nismo kit goes well with the lines of the car, and as you said they do look good smoothed in. I like Taddys car, but think it would look even better in matte black like andy's, which is why I'm considering the wrap Im unsure with what front lip I should go for and whether I should smooth the spoiler into the boot lid

Very nice Taddy. I'm going for a stealth look too. I live close by, I'd like to pop down to the next meet to see it in person and hear what it sounds like.

Nice to see another roadster owner. Does your roof fully open in colder temps, or does it get stuck just before it enters the boot?
