I'll probably get flamed for saying this but I don't think the 370 looks as good as the 350 does.
Agreed
Seen a few of them now & much prefer the 350
I thought it was just me - obviously not. I'm quite dissapointed actually because I would have been quite happy to upgrade my 350 to a new 370 had it represented an all round improvement. Imo though the only benefir I can see is a bit more power and that's not enough reason for me to buy one. Going to have to be a porka I recon
+1 ................... backward step on the overall proportion of the car IMO

That's why the DVLA one is handy as it has the borders and spacing mentioned.
I have a cut down plate and it is legal as the borders are correct.
edit: I knew I'd posted them up before.....
They are here
Gotcha
thanks for all that

SUMMARY: What is required and permitted on UK road-legal number plates
Required:
* White front plate (to British Standard BS AU 145d)
* Yellow rear plate (to British Standard BS AU 145d)
* The registration number of the bearer vehicle in the mandatory font (black ‘Charles Wright 2001’)
* Spacing of characters and character groups in accordance with the measurements specified in the regulations. Variation is not permitted
That sums it up nicely IMHO- I had to change mine to comply when a nice policeman asked me to last year, Over the years I've been stopped four times and the last time it was serious - 'get it changed or else' - I guess it's to do with the number plate recognition cameras that are prevalent now.
The only thing you haven't mentioned and what I'm still not sure about, if your number is short, say A1 ZED, is it allowed to cut down the plate?

Yep, I've got one:
Haven't the foggiest where it came from though, was on when I got the car! I think there's a Germany based site doing them, can't remember the link I think it's on my PC at work... Will have a look in the morning...

i think i've seen them on ebay, not aware of a uk supplier for that item, zunsport are uk based, but theirs is a bit different.
Yea - thanks for that but it's 2007 on - not a bad price though

I've seen a billet multi bar front grill on US sites - Are they available in UK? - I think I want one

i've gone too
for me it was purely the reason that i found the Zed just too impractical and tiring for my every day work car and with the constant fuel increases and talk about road tax increase it just tipped me over the edge to go a little more sensible.
Marzman...you still after a range rover?
For any Abarth fans, heres a few pics of my new practical toy
Nice 500 - Oh how I wish the wifey would swap her Arosa for this!!!

I guess that makes me the owner for 5 years 8 months
Certainly does. What's the build date of yours?
Where do I find that?

Hi & to the forum. You could possibly be the longest owner here, between you & Bronzee.
Lol, my Zed doesn't count really being across the pond. 5 years, 7 months and counting.
Mine was due from the dealer 01 March 2004 - in fact it didn't arrive on my drive until 15 March 2004 and since I'd already let my old car go to the new owner
I kicked up a fuss
So the dealer gave me a Z wristwatch and his Z to use in the meantime
Boy that dealer car was fast
I guess that makes me the owner for 5 years 8 months
