My 20's have Toyo T1R's
F - 245/35/20
R - 275/30/20
I have F - 255/40/20 and R - 285/30/20. The rears were what I questioned as I requested a '35' profile not '30' but they assured me it would be all good. Maybe I should take this up with the place I bought them although I wish I hadn't bought them mail order now.

There's my issue. I think in my impatience and not realising different profiles would cause an issue I've bought the wrong tyre, mind you I did question that with the place I bought them from and they assured me I wouldn't notice a thing. What a pain in the arse! Car looks nice on the wheels but I can't really drive it, time to crack my commuter back out for the weekend

Seems I may have an issue with tyre sizes oopss

9 inch up front with a 255 tyre and 10.5 inch on the rear with a 285 tyre, there are no clearance issues at all, no rubbing, full lock is fine as well. It's got me a little more than baffled.

After some help on this really. I just put my new wheels on (20 inch) and my car is now undriveable which is really not making me happy, the traction control kicks in ALL the time. I have to drive around with the traction control off which is all good and well but it's avoiding the problem really. The front hubs have 20mm Eibach spacers on them which seem to be as tight as they can go, there are no clearance issues. I've had my wheels on 5 minutes and I'm this close to taking them off and selling them if they're going to cause me these issues. Has anyone else come across this problem?

> Was it a sudden purchase only a week or so back or did you long to own one for years?
Yes, sudden, was going to buy an E30 and do something special with it but realised I'm fed up of messing around with old cars.
> Could you sleep the night before?
Like a log.
> Did you wake up earlier than you would normally?
Yes, because I had to figure out how the hell to pay for the car as internet banking has a 10k limit on transfers.
> What did you do in the morning and what were your feelings (anxious, excited, worried, etc)?
Worried that I wouldn't be able to transfer the cash and the car would sell.
> What were your feelings collecting it in person and sitting behind the wheel knowing it's yours for the first time?
Buzzing although the traffic on the A27 was murder as it was closed due to an accident, nothing like learning some clutch control straight away, although it didn't feel like my car.
> Did you go out for hours of driving straight away or did you go back home to admire it in peace?
Got home at night and had to go straight out for a party.
> Did you go straight to a family or friends house and give loved ones a quick blast?
My old man followed me home after buying it so he saw it straight away. Showed the missus who got white face paint stuff all over the black seats as it was halloween!
> Was it your first sports car? If not, which experience was the most memorable? The first one or your zed?
Really, yes.
> Do you remember others pointing and giving you the thumbs up or taking pics for the first time?
That hasn't happened that I know of.

Not having the pennies to buy a GTR the 350 is a brilliant car in it's own right, so I have no real regrets I just wish I had researched them a bit more before buying (one a couple months older would have saved me a bomb on road tax).

Car needs MOT to get the plate of and if the car is scrapped with it on I think it's gone for good, so I wouldnt write it off if I were you
Steal all of his docs and apply for the transfer
ahhh!
Thanks for that.
Back to the drawing board.
If a car has (and it should have) an MOT at time of crash of course you can pull the plate off, although I'd imagine a plate like "350 DAN" would be worth a bit.

Uend up gettinw?hat ddiTyres on the way!
What did you end up getting???
Ended up going for Pirelli PZero's as I got a great deal, they're here now. While I was waiting I decided to get one of the alloys repaired as there was a 2cm curb mark on one of the rears and I thought it would be a shame to put them on with that mark there, should be picking that up tonight. Hopefully I can leave my tyres and wheels with the old man tomorrow and he'll get them put on. Just waiting on spacers now which should hopefully be here tomorrow thanks to CS and then I'm getting them on

I've been looking for a set of these all day I find them ridiculously overpriced for what they are (a machined piece of metal) when they sell for half the price in the US. Looks like I might have to settle for a brand new set as the Eibach's are the only ones that fit standard Nissan alloys.
To whoever bought them, wanna sell 2?

Looks like a bargain!

Nice!

I have to say the system is pretty good, there are no issues with pairing phones either. I often use a Fiat 500 as well and the 'Blue & Me' that is installed in that as standard is sometimes a little funny, there were never any problems with my LG phone but you have to manually connect it to my SE. So no real complaints of the Nissan bluetooth system although the audio is a little weak.

I've sent alloys before, just cut cardboard circles, punched some holes through them and zip tied them to the face of the alloys

Sold - please delete

Need a group hug after all that eh

get a road legal quad and drive it on your car licence sold mine a few months ago will definately be getting another one soon great in the summer and you dont have to wear a helmet {adviseable though}
Quads are cool, didn't even think you could just drive those on a normal car license in this country.

Thought I would put this up to see how much people misses some of there favorite snacks.
I used to love waking up in the morning when I was a young 1 and head straight to the kitchen and get my favorite cereal Lucky charms. (Amazing)
Quite liked eating nerds and atomic fireballs to.
What did you like? Miss anyhthing you cannot get now?
I haven't long come back from Canada, first thing I bought when I was out there, Lucky Charms, and then I found Nerds! I have a pack left in my car
I also bought a load of Reese's, Big Red and 16 cans of Mountain Dew. No wonder my case (minus the snowboard bag) weighed in at 25kg haha!

That's good to know mate. So I'm not going to whip them off and sell them just yet. Standard the alloys have 40 on the front and 35 on the rear, I'm just going to have to get a set with a 35 profile on the rear then. Thanks for the input guys. I just wish I'd realised the importance of rolling radius' prior to buying tyres.
