  1. Cheers guys. Sorry to be dumb - who/where are CS? Thanks.
  2. Yes thanks Malcolm. Not sure how it happened, but have really got used to the seats, feels fine now - thankfully! How are you getting on with your new 370?
  3. Hi Guys, Have tried using the search but couldn't find anything I'm afraid... My 05 350 needs a P2 service in the next month or so. It's only had dealer services so far, but as I plan on keeping it for a while, and it's 6 years old now, I don't really think it's too important to keep that going. Are there any independents in the Northampton/Milton Keynes area people would recommend please? And also, what is a decent price to be paying for the P2 service please? Thanks, Steve
  4. I'd thoroughly recommend comparethemarket.com. They got mine (32 years old, no points, protected full no claims) down to 415 a year with Admiral. Cheaper than going to Admiral direct, too.
  5. Thanks M13KYF, I'll give that a go.
  6. Got to work today and my passenger side side indicator was dangling down the side of the car. Pushed it back in but there is still some movement there, especially compared to the driver's side one, which feels rock solid. Not had the car long, so was wondering if this is a known issue? Or if not, any suggestions on how to make it more secure please, so it doesn't keep happening.. Thanks
  7. Cheers guys. Previous car was a CTR, and could drive that all day long and felt perfect. I'll give it a couple of months before making a decision then, see if I can get used to it.
  8. Thanks Bassjay, will do.
  9. Cheers Mattme. Yeah, other than that I love the car. Do you know of any available, and how much they lower the seat at all please?
  10. Cheers Arkwright. You don't feel as though you're sitting too high up then, and on the seats rather than in them? Don't know if models differ, mine is an 05 GT.
  11. Cheers guys. Yeah that's sort of how I've got it, higher at the front and lower at the back (the bottom part of the seat), but it's still not great. Was hoping someone was going to say something along the lines of "Yeah, there's a mod where you install a new seat rack or something that lowers the seat down.." If not, looks like I won't be keeping it too much longer, unless I can sort it some other way
  12. I've had the Zed just over a month now, and I still can't get comfy in the seats I'm 6" 3', and constantly feel like I need the seat to go back another inch or so, and down by about 3! I feel like I'm sitting on top of the seat, rather than in it, if that makes sense? I also feel like my head is lolling forward if I take one of my hands off the steering wheel, but if I put the seat further reclined I then feel like I'm starting to lie down. It's having both hands on the steering wheel which is pushing me back into the seat to make me semi comfortable, but that's not an ideal setup - to need the steering wheel to be pushing you back into your seat.. Not the easiest problem to explain, but anyone else struggle to get their seat set up correctly and is tall? Any suggestions at all please? As if I can't get comfy then I'll have to end up selling it, and I would be gutted
  13. Looks lovely Malcolm, hope you're pleased with it. Let me know if you're looking to sell in around 5 years time!
  14. Hopefully this is sold now.. to me
  15. Thanks guys. Took it down to Tyres Northampton in the end on Saturday morning. They did a very good job, and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Never been to a more professional looking garage either, very smart. 89.99 for a four wheel alignment using the Hunter system (plus 5% discount if you print off their online form). Seemed a decent enough price and service to me.
  16. Thanks again Malcolm. The car is absolutely fantastic! Loving every minute of it. Good luck with the 370. Steve
  17. Bought a 350z yesterday, a car from a forum member. The car is absolutely fantastic (almost). I was offered it with either some new rays the owner had put on, or the stock GT wheels. I opted for the stock ones, and they were kindly put back on when I bought the car. However, the car is pulling to the left slightly, so I would like to get the wheel alignment corrected. Is there anywhere in the Northampton or Milton Keynes area people would recommend at all please? I've been on http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/ and they have listed 'Superior Cars' and 'Tyres Northampton' as the two garages of choice in Northampton. Anyone had any experience of either please? Or anywhere esle? Thanks, Steve
  18. Hi Chris. I'm trying to sell mine too - a Civic Type R, but it's to buy a 350z. Mine's also been up a week now, Autotrader, PistonHeads, Civic Type R forum, and work's Intranet. Not a sniff. Mine is fairly priced too. I think there's just a smaller market for cars like this than say a Focus or Mondeo, so less people looking to buy them. Just an opinion too, you might be putting people off with the "no offers". If you'd take 11,500 in the next four days, but someone else was thinking I've got 11,250 but no more, would it not be a shame for them not to even contact you? Maybe you could do a deal in those circumstances? I've always tended to go with O.V.N.O. That way, you can always refuse an offer, but you might just miss out on one that was near enough what you were after otherwise? Good luck anyway mate.
  19. Thanks for all the replies guys - helpful as ever Looks like I wasn't imagining it then.
  20. See that sounds like what I experienced... The passenger seat definitely felt wider across the shoulders/lower back than the drivers. Which felt tighter. I'm 6'3 and just under 13 stone, so not what you'd call a fatty..
  21. Had my first drive in a 350 on Saturday, and loved it. My car is up for sale now and will be looking to get a 350 as soon as I can shift mine One question though, is it me, or is the drivers seat tighter across the back/shoulders than the passenger seat? This was the one and only time I'd been in a zed, so not sure if it was this car or my imagination or what..
  22. Thanks for all the replies guys. May well be looking at a different car from a member from this forum now
  23. Cheers Gizmo. Yeah don't mind paying what something is worth, just wanted to get a feel of what a decent price would be for it. If people on here (who know a lot more than me about these car's values) were saying it's worth more like 12-12.5k, then I'd know what to be happy getting him down to. Wouldn't want to pay 13.5 for it, only to find out it's a grand or two over the odds.
