  1. Hi all, I was wondering if anyone here is an accountant that can give me a little advice with tax via pm. Basically I have been trying the last couple of years to start a few side projects that might earn me some money. Last year I actually started to make some money on one of them via eBay and I wanted to discuss it with someone to make sure I am inside the law paying the correct taxes etc... especially as this year I want to try and expand with Etsy etc.... Just someone trained who can give me a little advice would be fantastic. Thanks guys in advance as always!

  4. So far I am working on something like this, I have read a few guides and seen a few rough plans and these places I have names seem most interesting, what I am trying to descide on is where else we should go to outside Tokyo and Kyoto, we don't want to waste time travelling for hours by train so ideally it would be nice to mix it up doing a couple of smaller journeys. So any recommendations on the ordering of things would be good, I am planning to fly in and out of Tokyo so need to start and end there, two days at Disney parks is a must too as the wife wants to stay in Disney hotel in-between. 06/04 Day 1 - Tokyo -Land Early Morning Haneda airport. 5. that would be awesome thank you. I am going to update this thread with a rough itinerary we were looking at.
  6. Hi Guys, There are always seems to be a fair few thread on here with people going to Japan but my search hasnt turned up anything that recent. I am planning to go Early April towards the very back end of Cherry Blossom, hopefully it lasts for the first few days we are there in tokyo. I will plan to do alot of the more typical Japanese honeymoon/tourist things, temples, Shrines etc.. But I also want to do some of the more whacky things like Robot resturant, Owl Cafe, DisneySea etc... Does anyone have any recommendations, I think we will try to do 4 or 5 days in Tokyo then a few in Kyoto and maybe a few in some other places. but it would be great to get any recomendations from people who have been. Also i remember reading a thread a while back saying its a must to go to a car meet, and they were all super friendly etc.. Anyone have any experience of this and where actually and when do they take place? Anyway any help at all would be great!!
  7. Couldn't agree more, if you havent already watch the second video i linked to earlier. The problem is much more ingrained then it initially seems, 60-70 years of hatred being spread throughout the religion is what other sources have suggested. Its going to be a very hard problem to fix. It bugs me that you only see one or two random leaders from Islam speaking out about it on TV, i never get the feeling that its a unified front with several of them holding press conferences in the UK, Germany etc.. all talking out about how terrible it is, because of that i think it just aid the breading of anger and hatred, and aids vigilantism/racism.

  9. I suspect most people would say to the above that the minor celeb didnt then go and hunt them down and execute the chav and all his mates with a machine gun. Or saw thier head off with a rusty knife while filming it... I get what you are trying to say but really they are incomparable, satire and parody are a way of engaging thought provoking and cleaver debate, just hurling abuse constantly at someone is neither clever or thought provoking.
  10. Haven't posted in a while, but saw this thread and thought I would add a few of my thoughts (Please bear with my ramblings im typing on the phone on the way to work) I think the biggest issue I find with these attacks (outside the horrible violence of course) is they are not centralised around one place, they have happened everywhere, Mumbai, Sydney, London, New York, Paris, Madrid, Indonesia.... the list is endless. Then we hear almost daily about the people going off to fight in Syria etc.. What I couldn't get my head around was how can this be something that is such a huge scale, if there are only a few clerics and imams that are preaching the brainwashing bad stuff...which makes people commit these atrocities (Which is what you constantly hear). Also as a sane rational person I very much believe that no matter the organisation/government/charity you will always have some bad apples. I have always wondered how there can be so many problems all over the world and from so many different places, surely if it was only a few bad people preaching bad things you would have hot zones, where the trouble makers would all come from? It made me wonder if there is a much bigger issue that we don't hear about going through Islam at the moment (partly due to people being scared to speak about it, partly as governments have been careless, partly as people in western civilisations are so welcoming), something that is unspoken. So I decided to start doing my own research into the issue, reading blogs, watching videos from both sides. The conclusion I am coming to is, yes it is a major issue in Islam at the moment, it is more than just a few religious leaders preaching hatred (if that was the case you would find people who commit these attacks only come from a few places - it is many many more), it is something that needs to be addressed. It is a problem that will not go away, and has been left to fester for a long long time. The problem is that at a time like now with lots of emotion it can lead us down a very dark path to restore order, which we have to avoid at all costs. Below are some videos that I found scary/interesting. First up is from a Muslim conference in Norway "Moderate Muslim Peace Conference" - https://www.youtube....h?v=tpeIS25jhK4 Second, a conference on the violence in our world - MOD EDIT Increased font size
  11. There used to be a video on youtube of the tests the americans did back in WW2 time (I think) to see how much the human body could take G wise by getting people to accelerate to 600mph+ and then stop instantly. I cant remember the record off by heart by I remember the dude who did it stopped so fast the dust in his suit moved across his skin so fast it caused blisters and burns. Fascinating video if someone can find it. Was history channel or something.
  12. any recommendations on product?
  13. Hello All! Really awkward scenario, got some new breaks and pads fitted by my regular garage - that I know and trust very well (they work on a fair few 350z). The car was dropped off, I got in it to move it park it in my space and as I got out I noticed right infront of the drivers window on the bonnet what almost looks like someone has taken a brillow pad to it pretty lightly in a circle motion. (almost like they have rested the break pad on the top not thinking and its moved slightly.) You cant feel the scratches with your nail. Now its awkward as I am 99% certain it wasn't there before, so am going to call the garage tomorrow, but as they are almost mates its a tricky situation. I will try to get a picture tomorrow, im wondering what the best way to even tackle getting rid of it?
  14. Oh right, so as soon as you use the engine for something its useless? There seem to be lots of mentions of people using them for tractors and such but its never quite clear if they actually were any good.
  15. Hi All, Randomly stumbled across someone talking about a GEET engine on a car forum, and I couldn't work out if it was real science or some sort of scam. (Similar to those magnet things people stick on their fuel lines, and those guys at car boots selling power chips etc..). I have watched a few videos and I cant really tell, you can see them all running and people saying how amazing they are, but then when someone tries to explain how they are working it just sounds like voodoo/mumbo jumbo/scam science stuff.... OR is it all a conspiracy and this is future science being held back, by greedy oil and fuel companies... Don't know what im talking about google "GEET ENGINE" and you soon see.
  16. oh great I will take a look. Presumably 12 groove are ever so slightly better?
  17. yeah that's kind of why I was asking really. I don't really want to be spending £600+ ideally.
  18. Hey All, Does anyone have these? I need to replace my OEM discs and pads but don't want spend a fortune. They seem very cheap for a full set. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300606952851?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  19. I should add, to do one video with Pewdiepie it will cost you somewhere between £30k to £100k. (and don't forget he still gets the money from the views on top) Pewdiepie is almost the sole reason why Flappy bird became big. (NOT Buzzfeed as people claim although that will have helped)
  20. The business im in we work with a lot of youtubers. £9k is nothing from that video. Most decent ig people who are with proper networks like Maker studios, get $10 for every 1k views. Pewdiepie gets that, and he has 2-3 new videos up a day, each with 1-3 million views in 2-3days (and all his old stuff isgetting views constantly). Disney just bought Maker for $500 Million I believe. WarnerBros bought a huge part of Machinima
  21. No quite sure what im reading here. Am I reading that Caymans engines have a 30-40% failure rate. As that sounds crazy high.
  22. Thanks Ekona, I was doing some more looking last night and a Cayman does sound very tempting! I was suprised to see the servicing costs. I had always heard they were alot more then that but your right if its only every 2 years (20k miles) its not bad at all. Has anyone here had one?
  23. Hi Guys, Thanks for the suggestions! Thoughts: Cayman - i was seriously tempted but then i read servicing is crazy price - can anyone confirm Europa - very interesting! didn't even consider, although i remember hearing Lotus had a terrible rep for everyday runners 6 series - these are tempting too but figured they would be much more on fuel? Supra - loved these growing up but now too old i think for me.
  24. Sounds like a good plan if you ask me. Its strange as when i looked a few months back im sure there were a few on for around the 14k mark but now there are none around for less then around 16k
  25. Yeah it seems like z4m might be my only option, but that sort of feels like a step down in a way as i decided over a z4 to get the Zed. IM thinking i may hold out for a 370 really.
