  1. cheers fella, very roughly, how long did it take to change over the whole car? i would be doing this whilst my mrs is working i think. as she'd have the hump if i did it whilst she was there!!!! Sparky
  2. components are from all over the place as they are quite specific. the dial faces are from america. I'll see how much it costs to throw it all together as a kit for you if you like? i ordered alot of it in bulk, only the LED's that i need to re-order and as suggested i'll look into wider angle ones, maybe different colours. yeah that would be cool. are the fascia leds hard to fit? is it just a "backlight" for the display? would like to get the wide angled ones fitted as they look really cool!! Sparky
  3. sorry i posted up the wrong lamps before these are the ones u need for the fog light http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2pcs-7440-7443-T2 ... 2c519d4874 the red one would do but when u have put that really nice lens on it will look like you got a strawberry chuppa chupp stuck in there. the one above is nice coz it is white and then glows red upon switching on. like the lenses though. bit pricy for what it is though! Sparky
  4. ok, to change the rear fogs you have to take the rear bumper off. the lens is the filter colour red so you have to buy these lamps!! http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trks ... Categories they takes ages to come through. like 3 weeks!! where in london are you as i have a spare one that you could use, but would need it replaced once yours have arrived. let me know mate. im in sutton. all of the other bulbs are fairly easy to do. whilst i had the bumper off i changed the indicator ones to silvertec ones as well. Sparky edit: the indicator lamps are T20's the ones u have put above will not fit. i am quite sure that they are all T20's
  5. your the resident lighting man. seen some of your stuff before. 18. hey fella, if your trading in a car or still have finance then i would say dont but if its cash then they dont seem too bad. i only really had trouble with the settling my outstanding finance. make sure you check everything with a fine tooth comb as i did when i got mine. check everything and dont let the salemans (steve or Mike i believe) bulling u into buying there and then. there will always be others dont get the warrenty with them either as its a major rip off. they charge £1200 for a £475 product, i managed to get them down to £500 i would not deal with them again but overall i am happy with my car hope that helps Sparky
  19. hey buddy, where are you based? is this a standard setup but with a new tip welded on the back? do both exits on both pipes work? im after one as a cheap replacement Sparky

  24. thanks husky, thats cleared it up! might invest in one of these them as the idle can be a little "lumpy" and i have noticed a crackle though the radio when i use the electric windows. Sparky
  25. hi people, i have been searching about on the forum for a reason to put the grounding kits in. i noticed that a few of you have them and i was wondering what the point in them? what do they do? cheers in advance Sparky
