  1. I'm in - can we just turn up on the day? Anyone going on track?
  2. Any more interest in these - we've sold quite a few, but still have some in stock.
  3. The early trumpets have a fairly tight radius, the later ones are longer with a more radiused intake which could help air flow.
  4. From what I've seen its just the metal bell mouth tube. Thats just from looking inside, not taken one apart to see if there are any other differences. I reckon it'd be possible to fit a bigger tube to the older boxes.
  5. I'll ask him I'm just after a pair of cheap used ones
  6. I'm after a pair (left and right) front compression arms. Must be in good condition although if the bushes are worn or faulty it doesn't matter. Shown here as 10 and 12:
  7. Hopefully they'll sell well and solve people's bush problems (stop sniggering at the back! ) We're going to run the special offer until the 17th April, so just over 3 weeks to go.

  9. Thanks Bennett - details of the bushes can be found on our website: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php ... s_id=25340 And our original thread is here: viewtopic.php?f=161&t=47391 We had a delivery yesterday, so they're all in stock and ready to go. Any questions, just ask
  10. Customers can wait - the only reason we asked mookstar to leave the car with us is because it was the first 2006 car we'd done and didn't want to rush it

  12. In this case the top graph shows power and torque before and after the remap. The red lines are before, blue after. The lines roughly horizonal show the torque and the lines going bottom left to top right show power. The 2nd graph shows power (the same as above) and AFR (air fuel ratio)
  13. The car was a 2006 Roadster - it had H-Dev plenum spacer, air filter, japspeed Y-piece and back box and Uprev remap.
  14. If you bring the car to us we'd charge £174.99 - that includes fitting the bushes and a 4 wheel laser alignment setup with print out. I wouldn't be happy fitting them without aligning the car afterwards. We can also fit bushes to arms if people want to bring their arms over, or post them to us. We'd charge £29.99 to fit the bushes + return postage if required. Prices include VAT.
  15. Glad to know you're pleased Jon. The power was about 290 at the flywheel (not wheels) and we got it to 312.8bhp at the fly after the mapping. If people leave their car with us we always do a free alignment check (but no adjustments) - its surprising how many cars are out of spec, although yours was pretty good. I've got a copy of the graphs here - I can post them up if you like?
  16. Shipping is £7.99 via Royal Mail Special Delivery
  17. Youre right it is a bit more expensive. £15 for a passenger though, which is a bit tight really. I may rebook directly with combe. £170 vs £199...
  18. I've just booked Castle Combe on the 8th April with Motorsport events. Should be a laugh Join me - you know you want to
  19. Having just had compression arm bush failure on our test 350Z, we thought we'd get some in stock as it's a fairly common problem. These SuperPro bushes contain the parts require to replace both left and right bushes with high quality polyurethane. Get 10% off, while stocks last- a bargain at just over £70 per side. In stock, ready to ship. We can fit the bushes if you bring your car (or arms) over to us and we can carry out 4-wheel laser alignment (which we deem essential as the suspension arms have to be removed) Order online: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php ... s_id=25340 or give us a call on 01635 247477 SuperPro bushes are tried tested and proven in motorsport which means they deliver outstanding performance. Their innovative design and superior materials offer dramatic improvements in handling and give a more precise feel through the corners. Unlike some polyurethane bushes with SuperPro products there is no increase in vibration or ride harshness an attribute that makes them an ideal choice for cars that are used for both normal road driving and track days.
  20. I'd be up for a Combe day - its not far from me at all. Motorsports events have got a couple of dates: 8th April and 3rd June - anyone up for it? https://orders.motorsport-events.com/EventList.aspx
  21. I've done loads of trackdays, but only a few in my 350. I was at Bedford yesterday and had a great time. My car has a few mods: coilovers, remap + spacer, pads and fluid and is great fun to drive with zero issues. As the others have said - sort the brakes out. You'll need uprated pads and fluid as a minimum. I've used Performance Friction 01 pads and EBC yellow stuff along with Silkolene race fluid. The PF01 pads were great, the yellow stuff were ok. You get what you pay for. I'll be going for an AP kit soon though I think - the standard setup just about copes, but you have to put more and more effort into slowing the car down as everything gets hot. With regards to car damage and other people - you can get inconsiderate people on trackdays, and it's a pain in the arse. If you're new to track driving just keep an eye out for the cocks and avoid them. Also, get some tuition - it'll help speed you up and get more confident quicker than anything else. If you try it once, you'll be hooked. It's brilliant fun.
  22. When people talk about having an Uprev they mean they've had their car's ECU tuned. Usually on the road and / or dyno. There are only a few tuners in the UK who can remap the 350 ECU - we're one of them and we use the Uprev software to do it.
  23. It refers to reprogramming or remapping the standard ECU. Uprev is a company that produces software and hardware that allows one to reprogram or flash the ECU. Reprogramming / flashing / mapping the ECU optimises the fueling and ignition to suit your car.
  24. I'm interested in this too. We're going to be tracking our 350 a lot this year. I've just replaced the compression arm bushes with the SuperPro bushes and it sorted out the knocking noise and made the car feel a lot better. The car is currently standard apart from Racing Logic coilovers and the compression bushes. I think the next thing on the list to sort out will be front camber arms - currently the camber is about 1'20" but I feel that it'll need to be nearer 2 - 2'30" deg for track work. Although the car is running a fair amount of caster as standard already. I've had a look about and the SPL camber arms look like the ones to go for - anyone got any opinions on front camber arms? 1st trackday this year will be this Monday - really looking forward to it. Going to Bedford for the day. We'll be offering a full suspension setup service soon - parts sales, fitting (inc bush fitting), alignment and corner weight setup.
  25. Gotcha - so only really needed if swapping to different / new arms?
