  2. Good morning all, I'm giving my brakes an overhaul since I cremated them at the Nurburgring. Just rebuilt the rear calipers, I have purchased a set of Hel hoses, my question is all 4 lines have the same style end that goes to the caliper but i cant seem to see how it goes on the rear splitter block, don't you usually get splitter blocks attached to the new lines? Any help much appreciated Dan
  3. Im off to the Ring tomorrow ill post some pics in a few days.
  4. Any condition, as it will be getting sprayed, mine fell off Dan
  5. Hi all, I've purchased a new Kenwood touch screen stereo after reading the info on the forum as what i needed on the system, but now I need to install it, and after looking around the cost for the cables and facia to make it fit is coming up between £60 - £70. Is this the going price for the Bose/steering wheel adapter and other bits? seems a bit steep. Dan
  6. I'll take a medium in white if theres any left.
  7. what tread have they got mate roughly? if theres plenty on ill have them. Dan
  8. Do you still have the spoiler pal? Dan DIBS IF STILL AVAILABLE
  9. Sorry mate can you clarify, do you mean space it out wider on the back with spacers or do I need a wider set of wheels for the back? and is £800 a fair price for the above in mint condition a year old? Dan
  10. Hi all, I know there are alot of threads relating to this subject but I wanted to check with a grown up before purchasing. I'm looking at a set of ROTA DRIFT ALLOYS (8.5J x 19) 114.3 5 Stud Matte Black fitted to Nissan Juke with Yokohama Tyres and Black wheel nuts and locking tuner nuts (M12 x 1.25). Will these bolt on without spacers, rubbing, explosions ect Thanks Dan
  11. Awesome calender, some nicely thought out shots. Dan
  12. Looking good mate, I'm going to borrow your idea of a gloss black top blade on the Nismo Spoiler, looks awesome
  13. I'll try and take a few in the morning if it stops pissing down for 5 mins. The guy I had helping was a professional sign writer so he overlapped the vinyl on to the rubber by 2-3 mm then cut it with a scalpel. He said with a little bit of practice it's easy to cut the vinyl without marking the paint or the rubber. After this he warmed the rubber up so it was supple then lifted it with a thin plastic ruler and pushed the vinyl under it with a credit card edge with electric tape round it. A couple of tips from my experience: do it indoors if poss get the temperature up of the ambient air and vinyl as it makes it so much easier to stretch over larger areas go to ebay and buy the proper vinyl squeegee and scalpel with a round handle as it makes life easier and is cheap as chips Hope this helps, this was my first play with vinyl so I'm not expert, but made a lot of mistakes that could of been avoided if I did the above.
  14. I like the impact wrapping can do for the price, I think engine bay and interior bits next.
  15. I fancy a new front splitter but not a big fan of the big overhangs at the front on most.
  16. Thanks for your suggestions, firstly I agree with the badge, I wrapped it as it was starting to flake and I had some vinyl left. I plan on buying a set of high gloss black badges off Ebay. The roof wrap took 4 hours and was a bitch to be honest but this was mainly due to the cold weather and doing it on my drive. The contour of the roof makes it a timely process but well worth it After reading lots of info on A pillar removal I decided against it as they are very easy to crack and expensive to replace. I can show you a close up of mine and its a neat job, I just overlapped the edges and then tucked under the rubbers on 3 sides. Cheers Dan
  17. This week I thought i'd have a play with some black matt carbon wrap, cost £5 and I'm chuffed with the results. I gloss wrapped the roof with a lot of help from a mate and then had the rear windows tinted. Finally installed some LED front reflectors from flea bay. Thoughts please?? Dan BEFORE AFTER Vinyl gloss roof wrap with rear window tints.
  18. Mate this happened to me a few years ago and had to sell my Azure Z, but a few years later I'm back in another Azure Z. It'll all come good, good luck with the hunt. Dan
  19. I work doing Anti-Piracy in the middle East. Always nice to get home and thrash the Z
  20. Cheers guys, I'll stick a few pics up of the finished product. Dan
  21. Apologies if the info is already in a thread but if it is I cant find it. I'm vinyl wrapping my roof on Friday and have been told for a neat finish the A Pillar external covers can be removed, if so how do I do this without any damage? Thanks Dan
