  1. Pimped Range Rover Sport Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe drophead Gallardo Spyder
  2. Sorry Yeah I know I love the Z but like all my favourite things (cameras, computers, girls) I have 100% ZERO interest in what goes on inside. Had to get PIMM to fit my pop-charger for instance. To me it looked like brain surgery on acid but he seemed to think it was easy. I think he was whistling at one point. Just decorated the front room and will be getting an electrician to fit the new light-switch.
  3. You do know that you push the stalk forwards and backwards to get the water?? Just asking 'cos I nearly took mine to a garage to get it fixed until I worked this out
  4. Good call mate, you got one or any images please? Alexz I have one, as do several other members. you can get one here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-CITROEN-CARGO-BOOT-NET-206-207-307-308-407-C4_W0QQitemZ400081463403QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item5d26b6a86b Thanks for the info matie...I did have a look last night on ebay. Could you send me a image off it in the boot so I see how it fits.... Thanks Trust us. I have this Peugout net (£9 off e-bay) and I put all sorts (expensve camera equipment, bottles of wine) under it and drive like Keeps everything in place and fits 100%
  5. Welcome onboard. Now get that Zanussi painted a proper Z colour.
  6. ????????? If it works why don't you make a few and sell to us Tiptronic discontents and make a few bucks?? I'm sure you could shift loads at a sub-£100 fitted price.
  7. I agree - bought the Tiptronic on a whim as my 325i blew up and I needed a car that day. Will be buying a better one next year probably and will deffo get manual. Can't wait.
  8. Not an expert but I've got an '03 JDM Sunset and I treat it as I would a manual. Saying that, you can't "feather" the gears in with a clutch so perhaps leave it another 20 yards as you head in to that blind left-hander doing 90 in 3rd thinking how scary it's going to be engaging 2nd
  9. Like this? http://www.avforums.com/forums/home-cin ... -pics.html Don't forget to PM me if you want to discuss putting some pictures together of your Z (or anything else)
  10. Hi, Thanks for the comments. Lenses are Nikon 50mm 1.5, Sigma 10-20mm and Nikon 18-70mm. Camera is Nikon D200 and sometimes Sony R1 with Carl Zeiss lens (a lens so good by the way that Sony pulled production of the R1 beacuse it stopped people buying their DSLRs) The cost of a project depends on how many shots you want, how much post-processing is needed and if you want prints (framed or unframed) If you PM me we can discuss. For example, these collages are popular but cost slightly more than a normal shot because of the time needed to construct:
  11. DANGER - BOAST ALERT. er..........like these?? garden room bedroom and this new little project for the 50 incher
  12. Thanks Pimm - give me a bell when that wreck of yours is shiney and I'll do some pics for you if you want. Here's how my photies end up invariably. And yes. I lurve the wallpaper.
  13. On the Mendips in sunny Zummerzet around Cheddar Gorge, Charterhouse, Priddy. Every Sunday it's because the roads are long, flat, white-lined and with low hedges. Regularly get in to some fun with various bikers, Porkers and Scoobies etc. Nothing silly. My JDM is still limited to 112 mph and I've yet to turn the TCS off. Have to be careful after sunset though because the locals have been drinking rough Zider all day and get their axes and shotguns out if their sisters won't let them...........well, you know the rest.
  14. Thanks. The Sigma can get great shots in super wide-angle but sometimes the distortion makes things a bit "bummy"
  15. Thanks for the nice comments. Perhaps I should have taken some pics before and after but anyway. Basically the detailing involved printing the "how to detail your car" thread at the top of this forum, buying this lot below from Camskill. 1 of G1116EU-MEGUIARS[1] MEGUIARS Quik Clay Detailing System 473ml/85g bar Total Price £11.731 1 of A2116EU-MEGUIARS[1] MEGUIARS Deep Crystal Polish - Step 2 473ml Total Price £7.231 1 of A3016EU-MEGUIARS[1] MEGUIARS Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner - Step 1 473ml Total Price £7.231 1 of G7164EU-MEGUIARS[1] MEGUIARS Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo (large) Total Price £13.591 1 of A7301-MEGUIARS[1] MEGUIARS Luxurious Lambs Wool Wash Mitt Total Price £8.991 1 of X2020-MEGUIARS[1] MEGUIARS Supreme Shine Microfire (3 pack) Total Price £13.591 1 of X2000-MEGUIARS[1] MEGUIARS Water Magnet Drying Towel Total Price £10.851 1 of G12718EU-MEGUIARS[1] MEGUIARS NXT Tech Wax (OFFER) 532ml Total Price £10.00 Carriage .............................. £7.99 Order Total .......................... £91.20 and then following the instructions line by line. SWMBO considered this whole process lunacy but then she was watching Chelsea lose at the time so her mood was, ahem "altered" This took from 12:30 on Saturday until it was getting dark. Left the wax on for an hour whilst laughing at Ancelotti and then gave it a final buff. Also used AutoGlym Window Polish, Autoglym polishing cloths and Halfords allow cleaner. Then prayed it didn't rain................ For those who are interested, the camera is a Nikon D200 and the lenses are Nikon 50mm 1.8, Nikon Sigma 10-20mm 4-5.6 and Nikon 18-70mm 3.5-4.5. All bought on e-bay for about £850.
  16. er........ I was having nice chats with 8 different people when this was in the forum I (and presumably THEY) wanted. No-one seems to have seen this now in 8 hours whereas last night I had 5/6 responses betwenn 23:00 and 24:00. Can I please have this moved back to General.
  17. Can I be moved back to the General section where I posted deliberately. Nobody looks in here
  18. Tyre dressing I've only just discovered clay bar/cleaner/polish/wax. Spent £92 on "products" WTF is tyre dressing?!?!?!?
  19. Hi Heath, Thanks. Happy to do you a set in return for your top work on the pop-charger. Let me know when you've got a few hours spare and we'll hook up. Not like that - obviously.
  20. Thanks Allessandro. Couple more close-ups for you. (P.S. I'm not a miracle worker. Any blemishes on car from home to hills - 20 miles - removed in CS3)
  21. Thanks. I think someone said "it's all about the light". Just pick a nice day with some good light and you can't go wrong. Unfortunately I took most of these at noon so the sun is a bit too high for really good shots. Perhaps I'll have another go this weekend.
  22. Thanks Husky and Shaun. Yep - Merge to HDR in CS3 - best tool ever invented. Not proper HDR as I didn't take my tripod so bodged from 1 shot and took 4 exposures in Adobe Camera RAW. It's the first time I've ever washed a car properly and I'm 45. Love the Z and taking it up on the hills yesterday with my D200 and a few lenses was a great day.
  23. Any comments welcome. I've tried a few styles, lenses and processing techniques. Locations are Charterhouse/Priddy area of the Mendips. Hope it gets across how I feel about my Z. If anybody considers them worthwhile and would like a similar series for their car, I'd love to get involved. Don't expect me to wash it first though.
