its been checked on the dyno and these cars do run lean on full throttle and part throttle with decats without a map....

you're clearly not driving to condition and I think its inevitable that your car will have a short life.... if a front wheel drive clio is sliding on this corner then why on earth would you push a rear wheel drive round it and expect it not to slide.... Start driving to suit the road conditions before you make somebody else, or yourself, another statistic

No it isnt. He was clearly driving wrong. Braking with abs kicking in round a bend? Mixed tyres or not thats trouble. Maybe so, but sounds more like ESP kicking in rather than ABS. He did not mention breaking. +1 may be some slight confusion on this

The reason it stuck could be release bearing, slave cylinder or master cylinder. The judder you were getting could have been down to the clutch not engaging properly or due to the clutch being worn out. Best bet is to get it into an independent and buy the parts from zmanalex as he's probs the cheapest around for the oem parts

Alex runs way more power on standard tyre sizes. Get decent tyres and you will be fine.
