    New numberplate

Decided to get rid of the crappy dealer numberplate for a nice one for meets i thought i would put Husky on it so it makes it easier to identify in pics. i got one from createmyplates.com there was some trouble as they had a faulty batch and it turned out purple first time but they were really good, kept me up to date as they fixed the problem and sent me out a new set all lovely and nice got a chance to fit them today so here they are. i would reccomend createmyplates as they gave excellent servcice
  4. oh no it takes me two days to clean the zed as i care. this, it didnt matter about swirling it or anything. it drives like a cruiser, very comfortable but a bit soft
  5. by the time i had finished the light was practically gone, its night mode on a very shoite camera so is useless, sorry the picture doesnt show how thick the dirt is, its about 3 months worth of constant use. the insides a complete dump was cream leather. if you could feel the paintwork youd cry, its rough as a badgers arse. needs clay
  6. so the love of cars really doesnt run in the family at all, my brother went out to buy his first proper car that wasnt a KA and this is what he got a good 6 months ago . since then it has only been washed once, last week the police pulled him over for a headlight being out. so me being me couldnt stand it! i went out and got him some high quality bulbs, sat him down and sorted it with him (hes useless btw) after that i really looked at the car and as much as its not my taste i said to him "this might not look half bad with a bit of a shine" so instead of fitting my own new bulbs i set about his car... here it is before: and after i did a quick effort on it: note mine being filthy aswell as i was doing his instead and in a very vain hope i showed him quick detailer on the bonnet all in only 45mins work, but i could have used sand paper and it would have still looked better!
  7. nurrish loaned me his, KUDOS TO THAT MAN Bennet picked it up and helped me fit it properly ,much kudos to that man grant played liason to CS and helped me get a new one sorted , kudos again scott is sorting me out the new one, ill pm you in a bit mate! i know im never going to live it down, but a huge thankyou! and these kind of times are why this club is bloody brilliant !! WHEEL SPACERS

even i didnt bugger them up
  12. yeah mate. put a strip of duck tape round your tools it happens to everyone once i think, learn the hard way mate
  13. hmm odd, and it wasnt that you pressed the button to turn it on (silly question i know) the interior lights are controlled directly from the bcm so any thing can happen you dont want it to be the bcm at fault its expensive
  14. its cast aluminium so not a chance. everybodys gotta learn somehow
  15. no its not, my plenum is cracked I thought you fixed it, John! i may have figured it out but im not f**king magneto yes i know its alu
  16. OK figured it out and boy to i feel like an absolute tool so im just a mere noob when it comes to the engine mechanical stuff so learning the hard way. (think ill stick to electrical stuff next time ) so anyway, there are six black plastic spacers (you know where this is going already ) yeah well with no instructions they seemed to fit nicely to space the engine cover up so it wasnt at a funny angle blah blah. yes i did think it was odd there was nothing bridging the middle of the plenum. and no i didnt over torque anything, but it didnt matter as i could never get them up to torque and seal it as it just bent and then cracked. The most frustrating thing is i normally research everthing anally till im totally happy, i just didnt see it as something complicated car 1, me 0 call it a learning experience i suppose
  17. At a guess i'd say he overtightened the bolts using torque wrench set to correct torque so cant have been it got stiff but didnt click, i decided to trust the torque setting. maybe im just @*!#.
