Thats good news mate, I've ordered a Cusco one like the top image. I plan to mount it to the bulkhead some how without drilling holes lol... Do you find your Z uses much oil?? I've been reading on the america site and some use loads and I mean loads.... Alex

You could check ebay mate, just ask the seller before you buy. Normally you just search for your bulb type and go from there... I put some in my Gen 7 Celica from a company called Monstermodz... Alex

Thanks for the images and info guys...I took a couple of image while the inlet iwas stipped down. I guess you all have catch tanks for the same reason as I want one to remove the oil vapour. Do you guys find your using a bit of oil? how much do you actually get in the tank over a month? The catch tank like Shires, I guess theres no way of checking the level in the tank unless you remove it and pour it out Cleaned and ready to refit Thanks again Alex

The top one is perfect mate but I'm not sure if it will fit there with the standard air box. Alex

Evening guys, I plan to fit a oil catch tank to my Z. The engine bay is standard and i'm looking for the best location. I want to feed the two cam cover breathers into the tank because I feel this is the reason for the oily mess I have. If any one has any images of theres fitted please post up for me. Thanks Alex

There is an oil seal in the cam cover (one for each plug) These oil seals are not available on there own as they are part of the cover. Alex. What symptoms say that these seals are gone Alex ? I'm using (burning ?) a bit more oil recently Hi mate, I noticed oil around the plug when I changed them a couple of months back....Ive topped the oil up and its gone dows again. These a lot of oil around the plug hole on that cover, Ive done a compression test and all cyclinders are very close, the filter isnt leaking nor the sump plug. The only place I can see oil is around the cam cover. Not sure which seal it is at the mo but I guess i'll find out when I take the cover off lol... Alex

Hi Alex, I guess there like o rings round every plug then? Whats the cost for the replacement cover? I guess I'd need both cover and the cover gasket if I'm going to swap the cover? Alex

I do have oil on the plug nearst the bulk head on the passanger side. Are you saying theres a gasket on the rocker cover and another separate one as shown in the image?

Evening guys, Ive noticed my car using a little more oil than normal...When I changed my plugs a few months back I noticed on the passanger side head there was a little oil leak. I stripped the car back today and its defo coming from that rocker/cam cover gasket. I've read the manual and it recommends the replacement of the Rocker Gasket, the middle gasket between the upper and lower Intake manifold collector and the gasket between the lower intake manifold collector and the intake manifold itself... If anyone has done this before I would be grateful off any advise... I'll get the gaskets ordered asap and get this sorted. Thanks

Evening people, for a couple of days now one of my brakes on the drivers side has been squeaking...I dont think its the front because I chnaged the pads not that long ago. I stripped the rear pads out the caliper tonight and they were caked with brake bust... I took a couple of image along the way for you guys to check it out... I removed the two securing clips from the main pad reatiner pins. I then removed the sliding pins from the caliper, I find it best to spin the pin with some mole grips first then they remove a little easier.. Wiggle them pads until the come out... With the caliper empty its time for a little clean, I cleaned all the metal slide that are screwed into the caliper which the pads slide on. I removed the caliper to make it easier, dont forget to dot a little grease of some sort on these. Once I was happy with the caliper I cleaned all the parts... Rebuild in the reverse order... I covered the rear surface and top and bottom of the pad with anti scuffing paste. Then slotted the pads, pins and retainer clips back together. With the car in the air I decided to put some PTFE grease in my anti drop links. When I bought the car 8 months ago they were a little noisey and I used Chain lube to lube the ball joint. With the crappy winter we have had the drivers side has made one or two creeks in the last week so I sorted that while I was there. While under the car I noticed there was a little mud caught in my arch at then end or the side skirt. I removed the plastic shield and set about removing the caugth dirt.... There was enough to make a foot ball field I sprayed the area with GT85 until I get some more sealer, this will repell and water in the area. Finally when refitting the wheel I checked the tyre and pulled this little baby out of it lol looks like a section of Stanley Blade. Dont worry the tyre is fine... Thanks Alex
