Seems like a lot of effort when you could buy this from Asda for £4 and use it as is or modify it: There's no proven cases of leaving tracks connected causing problems, although it doesn't do any harm and the chances of anyone wanting to play a regular tape in future are tiny. Hooking up to the Nurrish Sat Nav seems to be an issue but cutting the tracks makes no difference. I am going to wire up a phono socket as what Alex has used, for my mp3 player/blackberry and also get this from Adsa and chop the plug end bit off and hard wire it in so I can charge my satnav and other things I will place this in the cubby above the HU Only trouble with that idea Pimm is when you remove the charger socket yours removing the fuse aswell.... Up to you but I have used a quick fuse in my setup because I dont want my £500 phone blowing up lol...

I dont have to play, my brother who designed the mirror mod informs me when the ignition is turned on the only think thay makes the mirrors fold is the internal mirror switch...locking the door wont effect the mirrors mate...

Yeh I mean play with the car lol, I'm sure ive done it before with a combination of the switches lol... The light thing ive never really thought about...you could connect them to the interior light dimmer switch I guess.

Evening mate, people are asking if you us the correct octane fuel i.e 98 plus...When you open your petrol flap it tells you to use 98 ron. Your normal fuel of the pump is 95 unless your using V-Power, Excellium etc etc which are 97,98 or 99....You should use one of the latter really. I think heat soak is the temp of the engine etc, if you drove on the motorway doing 100mph it would be getting rammed with a 100mph air flow. Some rolling road dont use fans when testing the cars hense mega heat, they should have placed a large fan infront of the car and lifted the bonnet, well all the ones ive been to have lol. Like anything mechanical is should be maintained and serviced right...Better serviced engines should perform better...When was the car last serviced. Hope this helps.

If the other party had admitted fault and you claim through his insurance yous wont increase. I would get an estimate for the body work and see if you pal wants to pay for it himself, he will have an excess anyways. We charge about £170 plus vat to paint a bumper... Shame its happend mate but atleast you know who did it.

I have a incar charger aswell mate, the way i've done it leaves both the power outputs free for other items and you can have the cubby door closed. For the little effort it takes to brake the lines you may aswell do it, R35LEE seems to think theres a reason behind it so you may want to ask. Like you said dude tapes went out in the 80's so I dont think people will be fussed about it not working audio.

With the mirror been a little out of my capeabilities I had a play with a door vent tonight. Its a little hard to explain how to apply the Di-Noc, all I can say it try it yourself and enjoy the rewards....I love it
