Looking at new rims for my car... Quote from website I seen these on... "Easy rider made in japan they are 2 x 17 by 8 j with + 31 et and the other two are 2 x 17 x 7 j with + 31 et the pcd is 114.3 and they suit five stud s body ect They all have accelera alpha tyres 225 x 45 x 17 two are mint other are legal but been skidded on but usable road ect," Pic for all who are interested... Just wondering if its going to be worth the trip down south to pick these up just incase they won't fit. Thanks in advance Craig

I'm not trying to copy the Tokyo Drift RX7, I'm just asking for Sunset Orange because thats what colour my car is.... Nah not feeling the spoilerless look... seen one on the net in white (may have seen it on here before too) which was spoilerless and it was just crying out for one... Now that you've mentioned copying the RX7 from F&F I'm having second thoughts, I hate copies/replicas/lookalikes!.... Need to think this through! Cheers Guys!

Reason I'm asking is because I think I want this kit and just go fully blown mental on my car, but I'm unsure because I normally go for more subtle styling... Cheers guys!

I'm not sure whether I still have the Bose Amp... were is this located? I see what your saying about the rear speakers now... I'd rather just have them in there, turned down a notch... I will be buying a tonnea (spelling) cover as well so I'll maybe see if I can build a sub enclosure in somewhere, but I need my boot space for now until I buy a bigger car.... Good point about the aftermarket HU already being in there... from memory when I had it out, the black box is there but I'm not sure about the steering wheel control, maybe is, but is unplugged or something... I have just purchased a double din fascia from ebay and the Pioneer HU is this one... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT Yokomo... What do you mean the rear speakers ruin the sound stage? I'm really not into big boomy subs, especially not in the small 350z cockpit.... What if I put speakers in the rear and then maybe fabricated a sub enclosure to sit right at the rear of the car.. maybe 1 small 10" sub... you reckon that would better the sound? Cheers Again! Hi guys... When I bought my 350z it was obvious that the previous owner had his own headunit and front & rear speakers in as I only have a shady non-standard head unit & some shitty front speakers (No rears)... So What I would quite like to do this month is basically replace the entire set-up.... I have had a wee read at the "Upgrading Sound System" Thread but I couldn't really understand what I need.... Hopefully one of you guys will be able to point me in the right direction... I will be doing this myself. I know it sounds daft, but I am pretty good at figuring out the wiring as I'm doing it, I just can't understand it while its down on paper.... What I want is... New Headunit (I've seen a nice pioneer double din that'll do nicely) New Front speakers New Rear Speakers 1 amp (nothing huge, just enough to give a nice bit of base) What I would also like is for my steering wheel controls to work. This maybe a whole other subject but I have a cradle with no hands free blue-tooth device. Do these blue tooth devices work with any Headunit of just the standard Bose one? I think I have covered everything. Your help/advice is greatly appreciated. Craig

Thanks for the responses guys... I see what your saying about my driving, but would it really be this severe? I mean "normal" driving habits would see me doing 30mph in 4th or 5th gear with no problems, but again I'm still a Zed newbie, however I'm not convinced that a car should be making a noise like this driving the way I am... Could possibly be the clutch and flywheel or maybe the clutch release bearing, I've read a few posts on here about this issue and I think this is similar to my problem... Do these cost much to replace? The clicking is definetly coming from the front, no doubt about it, I'll change the brakes first and take it from there... Thanks again!
