somtihng just dawned on me .... if they are all hooked up it must be a split right at the back ... more pipes than cylinders !
  6. oooh you got one of the HKS clones , baited breath to see how it turns out. good luck im sure it will be all good.
  7. 4 chan so no , i would sugest you run the front pair off it ,bridge the rear chan for the sub and leave the rear speakers alone .
  8. erm not heard of them before , same kind of budget .. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/infinit ... -475a.html infinity stuff tends to be pretty good and packs a decent output for the size. id get a listen to a Z with just the blose + proper sub first as unless your pretty handy with ICE type stuff its alot of extra wiring (main reason i couldnt be botherd and im not to bad at it) but hvaing said that you could buy the amp and a sub then if see how it goes. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gto1014.html thats 10 and the jbl budget subs tend to get good value for your money ratings.
  9. looks ok , runs down to 1ohm which rare too. not sure why the bose sub isnt working though , little strange that.
  10. if your just wanting to add some bass and ditch the bose sub/POS then yes id go for a monoblock of about that power , as for sub it depands on how creative you are on install. if you dont mind pulling the rear panel apart you can get the bose plate out and 10inch can be fitted in there(search for box design as its been posted ).
  11. depnds on your plans for the future but mainly your budget. i went monoblock to just run my sub a while back but if your really in to your audio and think you may want fully amp'd id go 4 chan . bridge the 2 rears to run the sub and then power a set of comps up front . If you must ahve th rear leave them on the bose. that way you wont have to spenad a fortune and it will be easyer to install than 2 amps but really its up to you. I belive H5 has a nice fully amp'd setup using 2 if i remember right. work out your budget and aims then go from there .

  14. lol thought it was going to say exhaust for most due to peeps de cating and trying it for the mot !
  15. +1 The supercharger might be cheap enough but by the time all ^^ is sorted & the fuelling, installation, mapping etc it soon adds up to a big bill indeed big power = big ££ but bhp for your money its the best by far , problem is as it always goes once youve gone supecharged you ned brakes , shocks etc etc less you have some afinity for more power than the rest can handle.
  16. pretty cheap vs the other routes ! popcharger £120 ish gain =1 maybe cat back exhaust £700 or so (yes i know you can them cheaper) gain = 2-3 spacer £250 gain = say 5 top end 10 mid range vs go super charger installed DIY £5000 gain =80-100 think the super charger is alot cheaper !
  17. probably not the answer your looking for butttt....best solution is ot bin the bsoe sub and its feable amp ! before i put ina real sub/amp i could hardly tell the sub was there , not a problem now
  18. try this for size bit of a rush job but you should get the idea(can change the colour pretty easy)
