Another negative review eh...I'm certain Jezz Clarkson has infiltrated this board!! I know the opinions are subjective but for what it's worth I just dont get why people have such a downer on the 370! For me it's so much better than my 55 Azure 350 it's unbelievable. 1) Faster - esp. in low gears 2) much much better interior build quality. 3) much more of an aggressive stance/styling - just looks upto date for me, the 350 looking a bit dated (dont shoot me!) 4) synchro rev very good I know that it's been critised for the front bumper, but to me its not a million miles away from the one on the 350 apart from 2 small fangs!, as for understeer, not a hint of it when I took one out. Another thing it gets stick for is the "head turning" annecdote (sp.) well Im not being funny but the 370 is very much evolution rather than revolution aka Porsche (who do it all the time - and never get criticised) and the 2 people who have mentioned it have very noticable 350's (and very nice too) ...one had a bright yellow versus White and the other an azure rag top versus a black 370...now lets be fair which one would you notice when walking down the street!! Like I say it's all subjective I suppose, just thought I'd redress the balance a bit! and no I dont work for Nissan GB but am swopping my Azure GT for a White GT 370...sorry folks.

Thanks all !!! But no help at all I think i'm going to stick with white, as it looked great on TG. Colour is very subjective I know, but I do like red as well!! decisions eh!! my main worry was the match of the bumpers on the white, but i have been assurred that it will be sorted on my car!!! fingers crossed. Not a problem you should be having on a 32K car!! but Nissan do seem to struggle on the paint front!!! aka my Azure 350!!!

Hi peolpe. Just a bit of advice needed really. I have ordered a white 370, due on 1st September but im having second thoughts about the colour! Im looking at red now!!! Do you reckon im best to stick with white or jump ship to red..im worried that the white isn't a solid colour and looks a bit "off white" or am i just going over the top because the colour match on the bumpers of the demo car I have seen is woeful (the same car as Beavis drove), but i have been assurred that it will be ok on the customer cars! What do you reckon? Thansk in advance!

The dealers i went to didn't let me out on my own, but then again it was the dealer principles car and he had only had it for about 2 hours when i took it out so fair enough I suppose!!

Thanks...it sounds like Nissan will sort it out if i'm not happy, i'm just hoping that when it comes there are no issues, the last thing i want on a new car are problems from day one...then again when i first had the 350 I had a load of problems (wheels bubbling, horrendous stone chips/crap paint quality, rear axle creaking ) and it didn't put me off ordering a 370! Deposit wise i have only paid a very small amout so like you say bronzee I hold all the cards (or should I say cash) really! Polarbear - as for white being so last season in 12 months...with a name like Polarbear white should be so your colour!!!

Im gonna be working down south on monday unfortunately or I would have popped down! I so hope that the match of body and bumper is good when mine comes, i'll be gutted if there is a big difference cos it will bug me like mad! Where do I stand if it arrives with a shoddy bumper/body match, will Nissan take it back and sort it out?...not a good sign if the White GTR had the same issue!!! I dont want another colour, got my heart set on white now!

Hi Beavis - Glad it's not only me, I thought the bumpers looked a different colour - very poor...i was assured by the salesguy that it'll be sorted for when mine comes in september as i have had mine in white (early production model etc)...if it's no better it'll be going straight back to Nissan i can tell you that!! what did you think of the Test drive then?

Beavis...make sure you take your Camera!!! What time are you going out? drive through milton and we can throw the salesguy in the boot and whip the 370 up the A500 a few dozen times! just joking of course if there's any police reading!!!

Gunmetal underwhelmed me massively too, but the white made up for it big time! 2.7 cars is pathetically far too few! but I was there when the steeler was trying to get delivery times for a white GT for me and they were coming up with late October!...mine was sorted for 1st Sept as it was one which was scheduled to go to a stealer as a Demo car, but being as there was an order there and deposit paid Nissan said I could have that one! Big stroke of luck as i didnt want to wait so long, but why so few cars! pre orders poor? Anyone know?

Yeah, not too long to wait but it'll seem like forever! Just for the info of everyone, apparently all Dealers who want to take the 370 are getting an allocation of 2.7 (!?) cars between July and the end of the year!! (im presuming the 0.7 will be a bit cheaper! ) unless you are a performance centre who are getting a bigger allocation. Thus best advice is to get one from the performance centres as delivery will be quicker...I will only get mine (fingers crossed) quite quickly as the dealer has had to do a "swop" with another dealer as the where I have ordered mine from has a silver GT Ultimate coming in as Demo in August, so they swopped with a dealer who is getting a White GT Ultimate in as Demo, but have not sold it yet...I suppose Silver is "Safer" from a dealers point of view anyway, but from mine the white looks stunning up close, lovely metallic finish very similar to that on my Azure blue 350.

Just a quick note about the boot space being open, you actually get a Torneau (sp.) cover built in as standard on the 370, so there's a lot of "secure" boot space as all the boot is covered! yay !

Yes it was a full production car, it was taxed etc as the "Demo Car" which meant I couldn't buy that exact one as it was registered to the garage and would have meant i would have been buying it 2nd hand after about a day. Car should be with me for the new reg, 1st September! woohoo..cant wait for the summer to go!!!

Performance did seem quicker...not by a ridiculous amount but I have a 55 plate 350, so the hike in BHP is definately noticable. TBH I was more impressed with the build quality and looks of the car...Perfomance was graet, but I expected it to be, if you know what I mean!, whereas I wasnt expecting to be particularly bowlded over by the looks and build but was! The dealer was Holdcrofts in stoke, but they arent getting a demo until late July (in silver), this was the DP's car which I managed to blag a drive of, I have been past again today and its no longer there

Hi All I had a stroke of luck yesterday...while passing my local dealership I saw a shiny new white 370Z on the forecourt (it was a GT Ultimate - Fully Nav'd up, etc) I blagged the salesguy to let me have a drive which was another massive slice of luck as it is the Dealer principles car who hadn't drove it himself yet! Anyway my impression was............... WOW.!!!! everything about the 370 makes you want one!! 1) The looks are fantastic, a lot more muscular than my 350, infact it made my beloved 350 parked next to it look a bit dare I say it Dated!! 2)Interior - is excellent - Very TT like - much much better quality than the 350 and the part leather part suede seats and door panels give it a look and feel of quality. 3) The gearbox and the Syncro rev are again both excellent. 4) the ride is a lot smoother than the 350, but still just as fun...kinda hard to describe really!! In fact eveything about this car is excellent, the only down side initially was the engine sound which when i first heard after pressing the nifty start/stop button, was very quiet and again TT like.....but when you put your foot down it does sound a LOT better and a LOT meatier, perhaps not as much as the 350 but is does sound very good still Sorry i didnt go into much detail but all I can say to all those who are doubters...go see and importantly DRIVE the car ASAP and for all who can't wait, then you wont be disappointed, it is a Great car and much better than the 350...difficult to imagine I know!! In fact it was that good I put my order in for a WHITE GT ULTIMATE !!! I cant wait for it to come...soooooon!!! Pleeeease!!!
