Hi All I had a stroke of luck yesterday...while passing my local dealership I saw a shiny new white 370Z on the forecourt (it was a GT Ultimate - Fully Nav'd up, etc) I blagged the salesguy to let me have a drive which was another massive slice of luck as it is the Dealer principles car who hadn't drove it himself yet! Anyway my impression was............... WOW.!!!! everything about the 370 makes you want one!! 1) The looks are fantastic, a lot more muscular than my 350, infact it made my beloved 350 parked next to it look a bit dare I say it Dated!! 2)Interior - is excellent - Very TT like - much much better quality than the 350 and the part leather part suede seats and door panels give it a look and feel of quality. 3) The gearbox and the Syncro rev are again both excellent. 4) the ride is a lot smoother than the 350, but still just as fun...kinda hard to describe really!! In fact eveything about this car is excellent, the only down side initially was the engine sound which when i first heard after pressing the nifty start/stop button, was very quiet and again TT like.....but when you put your foot down it does sound a LOT better and a LOT meatier, perhaps not as much as the 350 but is does sound very good still Sorry i didnt go into much detail but all I can say to all those who are doubters...go see and importantly DRIVE the car ASAP and for all who can't wait, then you wont be disappointed, it is a Great car and much better than the 350...difficult to imagine I know!! In fact it was that good I put my order in for a WHITE GT ULTIMATE !!! I cant wait for it to come...soooooon!!! Pleeeease!!!

I was convinced my car was knackered and was using it as an excuse to put a deposit down in a 370! Think i'll go and do the intro's Marzman, seeing as the site has been so helpful already!! Matt

Hi All I'm really hoping that one of you out there will be able to help me! Im desperate!! I have a very loud clunking and heavy vibration coming from my drivers side front wheel area. It sounds like that its coming from the lower engine/wheel area and occurs when going at low speed over bumps in the road. It has got gradually worse over a period of 3-4 weeks and now happens all of the time, but strangly it doesnt happen at high speed/motorway driving and the noise stops when braking (but still going over bumps!) I have taken it to my local Dealership who have spent hours trying to locate the problem on 2 seperate occassions and have also used diagnostic equipment (microphone/speakers/computer) to try and listen and locate the problem (apparently they only usually use this sort of thing for rattling body panels!) Nissan GB customer service dont want to know as the car is a 55 plate but has done 85k as its my day to day car i use for work. Has anyone out there had anything similar happen to there Z or have any idea what it is? the dealer Holdcrofts in Stoke on trent have ruled out anything to do with the suspension, wheel bearings or braking...but if a Nissan dealer doesnt know what it is, Nissan GB dont give a t+ss, what chance have i got in getting it sorted!
