I heard DSG is way forward with them, is that true?? If I go R32, should it be DSG??

I looked at them when I was getting my zed last year, I do like them from some angles, but there is just something about them that puts me off, ticks some boxes, just not enough, the most important being the face my bird just pulled when I showed her some on pistonheads!!

I had a 330ci revving up next to me at a set of lights on a dual carriage way. The lights changed to green, I stalled, tw@t, beamers dust in my face. The bloke in a saab behind me was pissing himself with laughter, my son sitting next to me slid down his seat to hide his shame in his inept father.

The time has come and I am soon to place my lovely zed up for sale. I have had it for a year, and following its next service & mot, have to change to a 4 seater. I will miss my zed oh so much, my best car ever, so to fill the void it will no doubt leave in my life, I need to get the right car to replace it. I will have a budget of around £14k, maybe could stretch a bit more. A few cars have taken my eye, Golf R32's, M3 coupe, Cooper S JCW. I want a newer plate car than I have, which is a 53 plate, I think if i'm getting a new car and spending more money, then the car should be newer! Any thoughts or suggestions about the cars above, or any ideas on cars I maybe haven't though of. Cheers for your help!

I love my sunset, I have a few friends who wind me up for buying an orange car, but they are only messing, most have owned up to the fact they actually love the colour, the others just don't like to be proven wrong! I wanted a gunmetal when I started looking, but so glad I got sunset, don't be put off by doubters, its good to be different and stand out a bit from the crowd.

I was in the Ezone on copse I think, near where the bungee crane was, I could be wrong as took a walk round whole track and took quite a few pics.

Went to watch the F1 qualifying at Silverstone on saturday with the lad, no pictures of zeds, but some nice cars about! I do like the Lotus Evora.

I hate that when talking to people, blokes aswell as girls that don't know there cars, the women at work, family etc, and they ask what car you drive, and you say Nissan 350z, they look at you blankly, you know they're thinking Micra. You know if you said bmw, boxster, tt, they would say cool. But it is good that they aren't common I guess, its a car you need to show people, and let them hear it!

can buy the BT adaptor on ebay, about £90 when i was looking. I have an 03 UK 350z GT, it has rays, upgraded bose with steering wheel controls, phone module and the all important sun glasses holder. It has cruise control, leather heated seats, retractable wing mirrors, head light washers, and a big fat v6 that makes such a nice noise! I think you can have parking sensors, but mine hasn't got them. No sat nav either, not sure if option on 03 plates as i didn't see any with sat nav when i was looking for my car, jdm only, could be wrong, but seemed that way.

recently had 912's put on front to replace the bridgestone, £110 each fitted. I have no complaints, feel more grippy than the worn bridgestone, which i guess is obvious as new v's old, but feels very safe, no fear of lack of front end grip at all, and I have had some fun on local b roads and driven in the wet. Would have probably got 452's after having spent more time reading up on them on forum, but I have no complaints with them.

I have had and early expense with my zed, 2 new tires due to an unrepairable puncture on 1 of them, still love my zed loads though, maybe more now as loads of grip on new falkens! good luck with the weld, hope its all fixable!
