  1. Sorry no its a 03-06 276 model!
  2. Some dealers just have no clue, that last roadster is the 2006 shape and they're still asking 28k?? Madness!
  3. Great write up, that looks like a lot of fun in tricky conditions!

    Scorpion Fitted

Yes please post a video! There arn't many of the scorpion on youtube
  5. I have driven both and feel the 276 and 296 are very similar day to day driving, but the 296 does have that extra kick at higher revs when you do use all the rev range.
  6. Nice looking car, hope you enjoy it. Try to see how long it takes until you bite the modifying bug.
  7. Good job, looks much better. Also that is one very immaculate front end!
  8. Not at all - the stickers make no difference to the operation of the vents. Yep that's right, there are spaces in the stickers for the side adjusters.
  9. Sorry didn't realise I replied a week after the original post, I'm new here...
  10. Try a scrappy, or search ebay for 350Z's that are breaking and get a price for the part.

    Sat Nav CD

You could try disconnecting the battery, then reconnect and it may do a sort of reset of the DVD or Sat-Nav. But I think it might be worth calling a dealer to see if they have any idea how to fix it, or if it is covered under warranty.
  12. Yeah I have the problem with the front one's looking dull, tempted to change them back to the old one's but will keep them in for now.
  13. I like them, good cheap mod that makes a big difference to the cars look. They look very similar to the limited edition 370Z Yellow
  14. Looks good, what sort of paint did you use to silver the rear lights? Does the amber shine through ok?
  15. The dash parts are just a sticker with a metal style finish to them, so they still have a glossy finish like a sticker but look good for the money. Yeah the Caterham is a 1.6 Roadsport, was an ex. academy and roadsport race car in 2006 and 2007 so it has a full roll cage and race seats .etc. Then I purchased it in 2008 for weekend/track use. Done about 5 track days this year and got Oulton Park next Tuesday. Here it is in action at the last track day at Donington What sort of Caterham are you looking for?
  16. I am tempted by the LED's but would prefer spending the money on an exhaust or popcharger. Got to get my priorities sorted! Yep the Caterham is mine, it is a fabulous weekend/track day tool. Not too bad on the road too, apart from people don't tend to see you as it's so small, and the ride is very harsh. Nothing drives like it, so responsive and it is literally like driving a go kart on the road! Only 120bhp and it's about the same as the Z to 80mph but struggles over 80mph, not very aerodynamic!
  17. I tend to be getting around 27mpg. Whenever I start my car and drive it for the first few minutes the computer fuel range normally drops by about 20 miles even though I may have only travelled 2 miles. Then it slowly starts increasing if I drive carefully for the rest of the journey. Maybe it burns more fuel when cold or maybe I'm not too smooth on the throttle or something. Any one else have the same problem?
  18. Indicators were pretty easy, just a bit of a small space to get your hand in. For the leds do you mean for the sidelights? Don't think you'd be able to access the headlights or sidelights from the same access as the indicators, would probably have to take the headlights off.
  19. Thanks. I bid on a few S2000 stubby's on ebay but they went to £15-20 so thought I'd give modifying my own a go. It's pretty easy but if you make a mistake then you'll need a new one....would at least give you an excuse to buy an S2000 stubby!
  20. Thanks, just need to do the side and rear indicators next!
  21. So I decided to do a few modifications to the 350z today. First was changing the front indicator bulbs to Silvatec bulbs, I created a Guide which is here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=26676 Finished product Second was easiest, just some brushed aluminium effect stickers for the dash air vents, purchased here: http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... odID=52964 A bit fiddly but fit OK and brighten up the dash. And lastly was a Stubby Aerial modification. Having no luck on ebay with Aerial's I decided to modify the standard 350z aerial. Roughly followed the guide here: http://www.evilution.co.uk/128 I firstly cut the long thin aerial mast down with snips to about 1cm from the top end of the rubber base, so the long thin aerial mast went from being about 20cm to 1cm. Then cut about 1cm off the cap at the top of the aerial, there are a few very small holes on the cap at the top of the aerial where the metal ends and when cut off where the small holes are located you end up with a 1cm long rubber cap. Then super glued the rubber cap top onto the 1cm size mast and fitted to the car. Reception is good, only tried whilst parked up. Found all the BBC stations very clearly but one local station was fuzzy but I moved the car a little and it cleared up. Anyway here are some pics!
  22. Replaced the standard 350z front indicator bulbs today. Very easy modification and looks much better, it does help if you have small hands as the space is quite tight. Replaced with these purchased from here: http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... odID=52189 First step to changing these is to open the bonnet, then at the top of the headlight there is a 10mm bolt, remove the bolt This enables you to move the headlight slightly forwards to give you some more space to access the bulb holder shown here Turn the bulb holder slightly and it should free up and easily pull out of the housing in the headlight, then manoeuvre the bulb and holder out though the space where you access the bulb Pull out the old bulb, then push in the new one. Then test the bulb to make sure if functions. If it works then pass the bulb back through the access space, then into the headlight and position the bulb holder until it slots in, then turn until it engages into the headlight and feels solid. Then screw the 10mm bolt back in and you're done!
  23. Ok thanks for the replies, will order those...but will probably end up looking through the entire website and racking up a larger bill! Cheers.
  24. Ah so none of those would fit. Would these then? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-ALMERA-MICRA-350Z-CHROME-SIDE-INDICATOR-BULBS_W0QQitemZ350239587562QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item518be7fcea&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ht_2520wt_907
