I see what they are getting at here: HR Motors; again same re the exhaust/cats idea as both DE and Rev up engined cars , these we find are best on stock airboxes people like fitting Nismo/Stillen filters kits for the noise but they dont give as much torque/bhp as the stock airbox set up fitted with panel filters. No plenum spacers on these cars thou ;-( But is this directed more at the Stillen Gen 1 and 2 intakes ... ? But I can see that the stock is the best, im justing thinking is there anything as an in between ... good gains and works good for the car while also giving that bit of noise for grin factor

Im not too sure ... I know the stock setup is great im just wondering have they noticed any gains from the customers they do have running the above intakes ... I miss the bark have to say ... although the car runs better than it did I think than when I had the Nismos ...

Hi Guys, I know all I do on this forum is ask questions ... but today ... its no different Whats the definative answer on these intakes, with an Uprev map do they have better increases than the stock/panel filter setup? Also in terms of noise do they offer the same bark as the Nismo's I had ... minus the immense heat soak ... Some answers from the likes of Alex/Abbey/RS Tuning etc wuld be good to hear as they have more than likely worked with cars with this setup. Im asking this as im already considering intakes again ... but want it done right this time, and if the answers negative then ill stick with the stock setup. Cheers, Chris

** UPDATE ** Got a bit of a bonus this month in work ... so decided to get the last of the exhaust components ordered up. Again went with ConceptzPerformance ... highly recomend these guys, he even bidded on a Nismo exhaust for me on Ebay that the guy wouldnt ship to UK, so hes having it shipped at next to nothing ... Great service all round, Guy to speak to is Mike@CZP on My350z. Exhaust components in my room and in transit are: - Kinetix HFC's - Ichiba Y Pipe - Nismo Exhaust System Got it at a good price from US ebay ... and Duties are very low with the courier they use (UPS) All round im very happy, comments welcome. another question guys ... have a chance to get a mint nismo back box with no pipe to the y pipe ... can you buy these separate or do they pair with the standard setup?

they must have a new one as this is true dual etc. although he mentioned they are working on hr fitment but are they are not all they same? Shire did this exhaust loose you a lot of power? Could you.buy it and then remove the dual mid section and add a y pipe? Thanks

Just to clarify I'm the seller and I was unaware of these issues with headunit swaps with the zeds. I think I'd rather you just return the unit and ill refund in full ... for £70 I just don't think its worth all this hassle. I'll pm you my address now and will refund the money to you tonight. Ive got an amazing price for a DC Sports true dual shipped from the states ... Guy has told me this says 03-06 on their site does anyone know if this exhaust will fit my HR ... this includes the dual pipes to replace y pipe. Thanks for any help on this ... Chris

Hmmmm good point ... I think the Ichiba Y pipe is very well priced from the states ...

How much is your car down? Would +12's all round clear brmbos and limit arch work to none?

Hmmmm If i got one cheap enough id maybe go with it but failing that .,, HFC's ... stock system ... panel filters ... remap (in time) Ill maybe open this also up to any exhaust if theres any nice second hand ones out there ... No nismos though as the price wont allow me
