  1. Yeah could do, but to be honest just a good excuse to see a few pals that live in north England. We all went to college together and agreed to meet up once i collect the seats.
  2. IT WAS ME!!!!!!!!!!! I bought these, but as a project. I'm going to turn these into those seats that you can use on the Playstations ect with a racing wheel. Should bee a good project. Only thiing is im to collect them from Boston, about 480miles away. Have to do it in the Polo as the seats wont go in the 350z boot. Stripping the colour is a hard job to do. But all you have to do is take off the protective layer with out damaging the skin. This then allows you to stain whatever colour you want. Wont give the exact colour you want first time but repeat 2-3 times and will look perfect. Just get really good dye. Best asking an Antiquarime Book Binder for advise on staining before you go ahead. Pay them enough they might even do it for you.
  3. Yeah defo my car. Sadly not me using it, i'm still at work.
  4. Going away to Ireland for a road trip, Just me the 350z and a few mates in the cars in summer. Was wondering if any one knows good places to visit and good roads to aim for. We will be spending about 10 - 14 days and will be traveling all over.
  5. I've got the Tom Tom Go 940. Used it in Europe Britian and America. Only thing is that its not infaluble, it might try to take you down a tight road that might not be suitable for trucks, caravans and campervans. Other than that though probably the best you can get on the market. Looking at £400 for it!

  7. No Probs Stew. Think we should stil do the run to Inverurie as its a decent enough road and there is a bar-cafe place where we can stop for a little while. Can't remember the name of it though, but i can tell everyone on the sat morning, its on the main road, really easy to find.
  8. This is the route guide i've made up. If any one has any changes to make please either leave a message or a reply on the forum.
  9. Yeah could easily make a small detour on the back road to Inverurie and have a stop there. I'll add it to the plan if everyone is O.K with that. Be a good chance to meet Stew before the Jockland Hoon. If we do go to Inverurie probably best meeting at the Lidl-McDonalds car park beside the inverurie road instead of B&Q. If this is O.k. i will post the route-guide in the next couple of days so that everyone can see what the crack is and make some changes to it if they want.
  10. What a story, so how did you two meet?
  11. Oh what time does every one want to meet.
  12. Defo happening even if i do it by myself. I will make up a wee route guide when i get back home and can either dish it out on the day or e-mail it to everyone. If anyone you know wants to come along i would imagine that they would be more than welcome to come in what ever car they like, dosen't need to be just 350Z.
  13. didn't think people would be this interested in this. Think i will stck to the Vpower though, Its the closest and easiest to get to.
  14. March 7th - 1)AB350Z 2)JT1703 3)Herbie 4)Vasser
  15. oh now thats interesting! will defo be sticking to using the shell v-power. had no idea about the tansparency of the petrol from different places. Only reason went to BP was passing and was going to need petrol soon. Left it though and went to Shell.
  16. Went to fill up the car earlier at BP, when i noticed the Ultimate Petrol is only Ron97, when the Zed is suppose to use at least Ron98. I normally go to Shell, but does this mean the supermarkets like Tesco and Asda are better than BP for the super unleaded ? ?
  17. Hi all Looks like two meets the best way to do this . the first meet at the start of the month, 7th/8th and then another meet for the rest at 21st/22nd. I am more than willing to take one for the team and do both dates . Not wanting to orginse (take over) this meet but more than willing to help. maybe meet at the B&Q car park at Garthdee (in the morning) and then take the south dee side road to Ballater and then the north side road to Breamer, stop for something to eat at the Hungry Highlander hear its good. Then down past Glenshee to Blairgowrie then do a 180 turn back to Aberdeen. Done this run abouth three weeks ago with a pal, great scenery, great road, great drive. If any one has another route they think is better please say. What do you all think? Please leave some comments on what you all think!
  18. Yeah changed filter too, Nissan 350Z 3.5L V6 F/I K&N Oil Filter HP-1008. Probably pointless though as its due its full service in April. But still best to be safe!
  19. Thanks Trev. Just put fresh oil in the car and the pressure was really high. Took it out for a little run and had to brake quite heavily and the pressure levels have returned to normal. Maybe and air bubble trapped or something. seems to be sorted now, did use the thin oil though CASTROL 5W. dont quite understand what happened Thanks again
  20. Hi all. think the oil pressure in my 350z is a bit high . What is the normal oil pressure when the car is just sitting idle, and at different speeds. Any comments is appreciated. Thanks Guys/Girls
  21. Cheers Another local car ... good good Yeah the rest of the forum think they only sell 350z up here. Congrats on getting the GT, awsome motor, hopefully there will be a meet soon.
