The only application I ever heard of for old engine oil is to paint wooden fences in the backyard with....

After falling in love with the rocket bunny kit I found this gem in eBay. Although when it turned up it was a nasty fibreglass job, rivet hole filled in and moulding cracks everywhere. Bodyshop sorted it and painted it black. Now when it came to mounting we both agreed pop-rivets would crack the spoiler so we went down the riv-nut route.
Here it is after fitting. Some of the rivets need centring and I'm looking to get some black head bolts too.
Sent from my potato using duct tape
Is it just me, or has this been mounted upside down?
Only reason because of what I saw in Valy's RB build thread...
quick update:
had the front splitter, rear ducktail and diffuser in for a gloss black spray. The car is getting a wrap but since the splitter and diffuser will be getting quite a bit of battering thought the vinyl itself won't be enough so here they are collected couple of days ago
my time is limited at the moment so not getting much done just now but since I still have a couple more weeks until the wheels will arrive it will all come together till then
the only other thing I have done is remove the old spoiler and lip / tidy the mess up as good as I could and test fit the new ducktail
guess this is more like it
second attempt at provisionally test fitting the ducktail again and this time looks right...couple more holes in the boot and a dozen more bolts and we're there with this bit

Sad times and unfortunately for whatever reasons we never met.
Can't add to what Colin and Pappa have said already.
When I first joined the forum and browsing as a newbie I was very impressed with the wheels on your car but unfortunately the rather nice young lady on your avatar wriggling into her jeans distracted me.
Obviously Zeditus got a grip on me an the rest is history.
Good luck or the future chap, please stick around as it seems lately the clan is dwindling lol.
The wheels are still in my posession and are up for sale, only problem for you guys is if you are willing to pay for shipping to the UK.
And in regards to the avatar....

Sad times Mark, how many years of ownership?
And what's next?
Seven years, 2009-2016, remember meeting you at a reststop and then carrying on to a meet, i think it was Modified Live at Brands Hatch or something

Suprised nobody mentioned if GM would offer Usain Bolt a golden one....didn't Nissan do a golden GTR/Usain Bolt marketing event?
-
Yeah, so I guess the guts from my "Bose" finally wore out too, eh?
-
The Handbrake will need adjusting at the hubs, check if the handbrake shoes on the inside of the disc aren't worn down too

My cd player is jumping again and ive got so many downloaded tunes it just makes sense. Music is a necessity!!I thought you weren't modding
Stick all the tunes on an iPod or similar and do the Bose hack.
That or get a HU without CD/DVD drive, keeps the cabin tidy and with a seperate portable music device, the storage should be able to hold all your tunes, hence why I still have my old iPhone 3 on car jukebox duty.
You saw many moons ago the Pioneer AVIC F900BT I had, has since been replaced with a Pioneer SPH-DA120, which supports Apple Carplay, yet still has my old iPhone 3 jukebox attached.

If using Kodi, add tvaddons as a source/repository and then as mentioned install Exodus, best Movie and TV streaming source IMO.
For live sports, might have to look to something like UK TurkTV source

Just book garage after all parts have arrived, less stress that way
It wasn't that, he was trying to order some parts and couldn't find them on the website, all sorted now
Ahhhh, I see
Nevermind me then....

These look great, but what z are they from my OEM's don't look like that?
These look like they have a dimond cut edge?
Very cool indeed
I think these are the wheels that come on imports that don't have the Rays Wheels. Could be wrong though.
Looks like a good refurb
G35 imports used to have these too

I would try and find out what caused them to stick shut in the first place, cure the underlying issue if there is one
