  1. Prolly upside down, as it needs to go past the diff OVER the antirollbar, hope this helps
  2. Now you can have another go once you get your Zed
  3. I remember it well. the flip key back then was for the US version which had the fob seperate from the key, right?
  4. As for pricing, ask Tarmac, he's currently doing a deal to coincide with his new website launch (usually go for £899) http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/60923-invidia-350z-and-370z-gemini-exhaust-special-offer/ (see last post) Thinking about doing the tuck Sounds great compared to the K2 (which isn't hard tbh...) Well if an Invidia is good enough for "The Bitch"....
  5. Hi Sam, sadly I won't be posting this out and this was based on pick-up only. Sorry
  6. Finally got around to ditching the JapSpeed K2 and replacing it with a "proper" exhaust So after keeping my eye on online tracking for the last two days, this finally arrived on my doorstep. Opened box to check contents... Opted for the single layer burnt titanium tips So after it arrived I was pretty knackered, since the last 48 hours had involved little sleep (12-hour nightshift, followed by a trip to Wheel Genie to pick up wheels, followed by another nightshift, followed by waiting another five and a half hours after shift end for DHL van to show up ), but I thought, sod it, since it's here, lets go get it fitted At the fiters we set about taking the JapSpeed off, which involved heating up some nuts and bolts and then this happened Anyway, after it was off we set about fitting the Invidia, which was very straight forward since all parts are labelled (just remember that the labels are for a LHD car ) And BOOM, it's on I have to say, it's a beautiful exhaust, the welds are pure quality, the whole system just looks and feels "right" Went out for a quick drive and noticed an odd smell and also saw some whitish smoke coming out the rear, but then I remembered I saw some white compound of sorts inside the piping, so took the Zed onto the dual carriageways to give it a little blow through All in all, I could not be happier with my Invidia, especially after having had two JapSpeeds before. Big thanks go out to Tarmac for selling this to me and organising the very fast delivery (From Los Angeles to Ipswich in less than 48 hours ) ***EDIT*** I do like my new lens (Canon 50mm f/1.8 II) ***EDIT*** Video added
  7. rodgeevans has first refusal, then Munton87 and then you Bullen, gotta honour the list
  8. Right, update time and I'm afraid it's not good news. We had to add heat to remove some of the nuts and flame came close to the flange area and this happened As you can see its now got a hole in it and is prolly no better than any blown exhaust. It also shows how shockingly thin the metal is that JapSpeed use. Unless somebody really wants this I'll hold on to it, otherwise it's gonna get binned. Still going to wait for replies from the people in the waiting list. I'm sorry if I have disappointed anyone
  9. He rarely is on these forums tho, best search the forums for his mod thread *EDIT* Just had a look myself, but it seems all his pics are now removed, sorry
  10. For the oblong space, perhaps look at decal transfer sheets for model cars, should be small enough to fit, then lacquer the whole thing.
  11. Well, the wash did the trick, just started final rinse and the van showed up, now the Zed is nice and clean to drive to the fitters
  12. The original 350Z badge sits in a slight recess into which the 370Z indicator would fit, but I believe you need to drill a hole to pass the wiring thru. A former member on here dcash5 had this done at a bodyshop, where they removed the original indicators and badge, filled the old indicator hole and then mounted the 370z indicator where the 350z badge previously was.
  13. Starting to struggle a little bit now, but the sun has come out, so I'll pop out and give the car a quick wash, hopefully the fresh air will wake me up a bit
  14. Even tho the "Z" looks slightly different, have you ever thought of getting the OEM 370Z side badge/indicators? They cost less than you think, from Nissan too
  15. If weak blades become an issue, we need to find someone that could make stuff out of metal.......WASSO!!!!!!!!!
  16. I'm still up, just barely tho. Struggling a bit because yesterday I came back from a 12-hour nightshift and then after coming home and having a coffee and a croissant, went out to pickup the wheels. Was a ninety minutes each way. Then back in for another nightshift and have been staying up waiting for the big red and yellow van since the shift finished
  17. Well, ordered... BUT I had to buy two, because the key fob badges only came in packs of two....
  18. Hmm, may order sooner than I thought, still got some Hexis CF vinyl laying about...
  19. Ok.....NOW I wait for the big yellow truck, lol
  20. Little update on my K2 replacement tracking From West Coast USA to East Coast UK in about 32 hours, not bad at all Just gotta keep an eye out for the big yellow van now (just come home from a night shift and may fall asleep tho, dammit)
  21. Last time there was no finish, was just a polish back to bare metal
  22. @Amy I'll need to find time and make you a new sig with the new bumper Amy @Will Still not put my name down for JapFest cos I'm still undecided and it falls in the middle of my shift rota.
  23. You better be kidding Chris I know Chris (Tarmac) has always delivered, pardon the pun, on his promises. My brother ordered some Hotchkis sway bars from the US via Tarmac and they arrived very quickly
