I was just worried that the minimum size of 245 would be stretched
It will be and so will a 275 on a 10.5, if you dont want stretch buy 8.5 and 9.5
These are 245/35 on a 19" x 9.5J wheel (my Zed), don't think it is overly stretched

On the rear I have 275/35 on a 19" x 10.5J wheel, also nothing too stretchy

Zed is lowered on Tein S-Tech springs on OEM shocks -
Didn't Buster have them on his Ginger Ninja along with Jag style sidevents before he sold it?
-
I had this issue before, super easy fix.
Go to Halfords or local motor factor, purchase an Air Conditioning Cleaner Gas Bomb, start car, set fans to recirculate, put passenger seat all the way back, activate bomb and place in passenger footwell, exit vehicle, wait...wait.....have a cuppa....wait some more, after about 30 mins, shut off car and open doors to air out gas (make sure no new lifeforms enter vehicle while doors are open)
Job done

Unbolt the ARB links and cable tie them out the way and drive slowly over unueven ground, if knock is gone, then it's the links
-
I have Teins on OEM shocks on mine, but due to lowering changed the ARB links with adjustable ones as the OEM links will be slightly too long.
Got Whiteline adjustable links on mine, all good

Not Stormgirls old motor is it?

Literally just this second turned off the TV from watching the news and the protests in Belgium over the 5000 jobs lost in the UK alone in the last year due to cheap poor quality metals being brought into Europe from China. I'd perhaps delete this thread...
This: ^^^^^
You guys know that most of the parts in your.cars are made in China right?
Everybody....throw away your iPhones NOW

It's all fun and games until we have squid with Kalashnikovs roaming the streets.
It was the squid that started it all tbh
-
Should have been finished today, so you could have a romantic reunion with your Zed

Dont forget to LED the vanity lights too (for the complete look)

CarPlay only works with the standard Apple Lightning cable plugged into the USB port.
AppRadio uses an AV adapter to connect to HU via HDMI. I have both because the AV adapter uses the feed from the lightning cable also.
Meaning when I want to use AppRadio, I simply plug the Lightning cable into the AV Adaptor.
AFAIK CarPlay is only possible via hardwiring, until there is a wireless solution
-
Just get a HU with where the USB is extended off the unit itself, then you can and an extension if needed, my USB is in the cubby between the seats.
I run a Pioneer SPH-DA120, and have routed the cables so I can have CarPlay or AppRadio
But as SuperStu has mentioned, plan ahead with what else you might want from your audio.
Personally, I went and changed everything, not one piece of OEM audio is left in the Zed
-
I'd prolly get a Toyota Aristo and go full VIP/Bippu style on it
-
And Steves paragraph had a swap, put the engine mod bit up one paragraph.

If the guy bought it only to be stored, why not just remove the HT leads?
-
Yeah, just need the InCarTec (ICT) patch lead for steering wheel controls for Nissan 350Z -> Pioneer

JDM cupholders?! I need some now haha
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Look like this, found it on eBay for £10, so kept it quiet as not to raise attention from other members

I had a OEM Bluetooth cradle in my cubby before, which had been removed ages ago, it leaves a convinient hole to pass USB and Apple cables through.
All hidden by the JDM cupholder

So, if you want carplay, you need to physically connect the phone to the stereo via the cable?
Yes

Previous page you can see the AV lead you need, so you can hook up to the HU with an HDMI cable
-
I suppose you could hook up your iPhone via the AppRadio mode and then just mirror your screen, which is the alternate option for the HU if you do not have an iPhone.
I have both options wired into the cubby between the seats, because it's nice to have options
