  1. When I used to go to the city centre I used to park in the PICADILLY HOTEL underground car park. There were plenty of larger than average bays to avoid "dings". Was a little more pricey than street bays but was worth it for peace of mind.

About a 10 min walk from the station bang in the middle of Manchester Piccadilly.

The ramp was long and mild. No issues with my Nismo V1 nose on standard suspension.

Only thing is I'm not sure if it they close the access at night.

Would have offered to meet up and babysit the zed for you and but my inlaws just arrived from Hong Kong so might be too preoccupied "entertaining" them to oblige :byebye:

  2. A good garage in the NW is Lockwood & Greenwood based in Audenshaw, Manchester.

Used to be a franchised Nissan garage but now gone independant.

    Family run garage.

    Used by many on here.

    Get a club discount :teeth:

About 30% cheaper than the prices you quoted

    I feel your pain.

Had clicky axels TWICE on my 05 zed. Once after 2yrs and 18k. Then regreased under warranty. 6 months out of warranty happened again

Still loving my Zed though :#1:

  3. Hi Stan.

Same happened to me last night.......but she was on our bed :scare:

Bathed, fed, changed, lying on her back having a last cuddle before bed......then WHOOOSH

White mixture erupting out over her whole face then the bed :yuck:

Looked like the scene from Alien when they kill the android.

Had to give lots of loving reassurance.....scared herself silly poor thing :dummy:

    YOU GOT OFF EASY

  4. My neighbour had the same problem.

    We tried clay.......no joy

We tried a variety of Menzerna polishes.....nada :surrender:

Then I dug out one of those "eraser sponges" from JML...... :yahoo: gradually softened the oversprayed paint enough for the clay

  5. Matt, you're a star ;)

I'm more than happy to spend a little extra through him if he knows how to treat a zed.

Just need to pick out a nice double DIN unit then give him a call

I haven't seen many whit zeds on my travels in Manchester.

If you see a chinese guy in a nismo kitted sunset waving.....it's probably me :teeth:

  6. Quick questions to help me "BIN THE BOSE"

    1. Double DINs look fantastic but I'd even have a single over my failing Bose.

The only thing putting me off a fancy double DIN unit is lack of removable front facia.

Has nobody ever had pondlife damage their zed trying to nick one?

    2. Many say the fitting of a new stereo is pretty straight forward, but I have little time to wash the zed

let alone try something new likefitting a stereo  .

So is it simple enough a job to entrust to Halfords?

    3. If you gurus reckon I should steer clear of Halfords and go to a specialist, do you think I should give

them a printout of some of the fitting guides on here if they haven't done a zed before

Any advice is much appreciated and I hope I've not bored everyone with the same old questions
