Change the thread title to ‘FREE PARTS’ and add pics, or start a new thread
If it’s anything like freebies on gumtree they’ll be gone in 5 minutes 😂

Stick up the images of what you have drawn 👍🏼
Diffusers can look good on their own but sometimes they just look stuck on and out of place. Spats definitely help
Also sometimes spats with a diffuser with a gap in between doesn’t look quite right
Might be worth looking at spats with a custom diffuser to finish it off, if you can make them all flow as if it’s almost one piece
Or look at a rear lip

There’s endless options, have a look on google images etc to get ideas but personally I prefer mods on front, rear and sides for the most aggressive look
If you’re going for a rear diffuser you can add some spats onto the rear bumper to finish it off
Side steps look good but I prefer aftermarket side skirts, the standard skirts are too flat. Or even better, side steps added onto aftermarket skirts

When you remove your private plate you put it on retention on the dvla site which is £80 you can keep it on retention for 10 year by the end of 10 years you have to put it on a car or lose it. when you put it on retention they will instruct you to put the original one back on
Usually it’s the original plate but occasionally they assign a different plate after the private plate comes off, my 350z got a completely different plate after I removed my private plate
Also you can renew the retention certificate after 10 years you don’t automatically lose the plate

Every Skyline had 4 door models

That generation was the 4 door version of the 370z not 350z. I think some markets got the 3.5 engine as well as the 3.7 but it’s not the same gen as the 350z. The coupe he showed at the start of the video (g35/350gt) was the same gen as the 350z. This is the 4 door version

What’s with the angle of the sticker?

I’ve heard of putting foam/rubber between panels to stop rattling noises but that’s more for the interior not there. Have you tried removing it?

Amazing skills and dedication to get it perfect

Ah makes sense. Look forward to more updates

Really starting to take shape now, looking forward to seeing paint on it
At risk of having the first negative sounding comment on this thread so far, I wonder if the exhaust would’ve looked better lower down in the bumper. Look forward to seeing seeing it complete and proven wrong

Love it mate, congrats

Can see it taking shape now, a real work of art 👌🏼

What’s the red car, far right centre near the edge of the photo, prominent black grill/lights combo? Can’t figure it out.
Is that a Dodge Charger?

You’ll be at least 2k for the kit inc fitting, maybe less if you find a uk supplier but most will need to be imported
2-3k for bags
Then other mods like wheels etc
The prices of these didn’t really drop that low even with low demand, and recently they’re creeping up again
Great cars though and look amazing when done right

I love checking my old cars’ MOT histories, and I actually enjoy it when they’re banging the miles in with plenty of silly failures on. Means they’re being used properly, the way god intended
Minevis now full of rust underneath and different sized tyres on the same axle...

I looked for mine a few times but never found it with the new private reg
I checked again after seeing that ad and it’s had a pretty hard life since
And that under glow....

Poor zed, it needs to be rescued😟
Yea I’m pretty gutted seeing it like that
-
Sold my Z nearly 10 years ago and never saw it until today. It was listen on eBay with a knackered engine, rebuilt with around 35k more miles than when I sold it. Paint looks rough, front lip is chipped, a few more mods on it but not in a good way..
I never thought I’d see it like this. If I had the space I would buy it back and return it to its former glory
And definitely lower it 😂
