Yeah cheers. I read the thread, but still unsure how they are rated. They are on sale on ebay uk at the mo for less than £500 which I thought seemed reasonable. Only thing is, I got in touch with Blue Flame and asked for some pictures of fitment to a UK Z on a standard rear bumper, with photo's of the full exhaust sytem so I could see what I was buying before I paid, but they said they had no pics. This worried me a little so I never committed to buying one.

Just sat and read a post regarding a guy who removed his standard silencer, and picked something up in a reply to him about losing low down torque but gaining only noise? Is it true that if I increase the backflow by adding for eg. a K1 with Y-pipe I'll ultimately make my cars performance worse?? Is this related to engine compression? How would I overcome this problem, or it it basically down to how much I cough up for one? I'm also in the process of talking our lass into buying me a JWT Popcharger for my birthday this month (along with some Eibach spacers might I add ), and now am really worried that my car will end up running like a diesel corsavan!? Is it worth the money, or will I only gain noise, and lose that ever so sexy wheel spinning torque?

I haven't read that any of you lot have a Blue Flame and wondered if anyone did have one. Nearly bought a K1 cat back, but a little too boy racer loud for my tastes. I want a quality rasp with some nice loud idle thudding, not a nuisance sound that you get on the nova crew!

are these a good spring? or would eibach be better?

How much do they lower the car by? Where are you living? I'm in North Yorkshire.

Some cracking pics. Sexy sexy sexy. I'd sooner just lower say by 25mm then if that's the straight forward option. Keeping my standard nissan 18" wheels cos I like them, and not really in favour of rolling the arches. If I just replace the springs on their own, purely to improve the appearance of my car, will I still suffer from 'sag', and will it affect the handling of my car at all in a negative way?? (never lowered a car yet, and I've had around 14 cars so far!)

I've checked recent threads, but wanted to know if : Anyone out there who has lowered there car enough,(silly low), that they don't suffer from driving round the block to find a street without speed bumps so they don't make sparks and scrapes!? I gather from reading posts that most go for 25mm, but how low can I actually go?? (2006 Z) Which spring are recommended from experience, (not bothered about playing with constant adjustments) and will they get my bank manager rubbing his hands together as I walk up to the cash machine to withdraw funds? Sorry, forgive my ignorance, but : ESR??? And if this was a genuine Japspeed, then is that good? You can pick a new one up for three hundred nicker so I thought it would be a short term thing until a second hand nismo system came up for sale.

Just found an article on 'Fifth Gears' web site regarding a 370z that's due to be unveiled this month. Anyone read/seen anything? I thought since the early datsun to the todays 350 that these were special edition/limited cars, not a string of productions like the ford f***** focus! I feel cheated.

Ey up, I have seen this cat back system myself and quite fancy a cheap noise due to putting my pennies to one side for a NOS kit (nearly there!!!!!!!!). What does 'K1' mean? Is this the car model? And are 'Japspeed' exhausts a load of old twoddle? Cheers.

After taking advice I'm going to attack my engine slowly, and start with a sensible performance upgrade. Where can anyone with experience send me for an ECU (piggy back)? I'm in Good ole Yorkshire up north, so locally would be better. Any ideas please guys??

I'm not into straight line racing etc, give me bendy roads and I'm a happy camper. I just enjoy getting on some as I was into bikes way before cars, and like the speed. If an ecu upgrade is going to make a very noticable difference and isn't going to cost a bomb, then I would be interested. Just want more power. - so can you recommend a piggy back ecu please? What are the power gains with this method then?
