  1. Count me in, done a few track days and talked about the 'ring' (no not the forbidden ring) a few times. Would be cool to go as a few of us. I like fast.
  2. Am I included in the 'three' Yorkshire Z's? Or do I need adding as the forth and most elusive member?
  3. Cheers dude but I think i have a deal on a nearly new one at a decent price. If it doesn't happen I'll place my order!
  4. Cheers guys . I'm very jealous of that splitter, not too keen on those spandangly bright blue bumper lights though! Reckon you could disturb a few cyclists with those bad boys. Anyone know a decent site/supplier then who they've bought off for their own car and been very very satisfied?
  5. I've been looking at alot of Z's on here that have lots of sexy carbon fibre on them. I'm not big into modding eternally and really love the car in her naked form, so wouldn't opt for a body kit.......but, carbon mirrors, pillars and a front lip look sweet. Is it safer to stick to known brands for these kind of upgrades, as opposed to the abundance on ebay, or are all 'weaves' and quality more or less the same?? (never bought/had anything carbon before unless it came on one of my bikes already) Cheers guys.
  6. Yeah cheers, let me know when and for how many shiny pennies.

    JWT ??

Any body know where or who has a jim wolf pop charger in stock as I can't seem to get my hands on one without shipping it from the US (un cheap)?? I would buy a second hand one if it was as new in absolutely mint nick if anyone has one for sale? I've tried ordering from Envy but they seem out of stock also, none on flea bay. cheers.
  8. That car of yours is like a fcu king motor bike. Nice. Think I'm of on pistonheads now to search for one!
  9. Some advice guys if you will- could I fit a set of 20" wheels without modifying my springs or damping? What profile tyre would I need for this please? Also what are the maximum widths req'd to really fill out my arches without causing me any probs (as opposed to fitting spacers behind my existing wheels)? Cheers.
  10. I live around the corner from PHD and use their protein all the time. Just started on their synergy, which had the proteins, glutamine, creatine, taurine etc and all the req'd aminos. Everything you need to help your muscle grow grow grow. Diet is very very important remember, don't rely purely on shakes. For a budget supplement, reflex are a good choice. PS if you go in to PHD ask for the internet price, and you'll save around six quid on each tub of protein at least. Or use their website 'monster supplements'. Although, the thing about bodybuilding_genetics are everything in my opinion . You might get big and strong, but different people grow muscle at greater rates, metabolism is a huge factor, some look more ripped due to thinner skin, etc etc.
  11. I'll probably get the Michelins I should think. My Bridestones were fitted at around the 10k mark, and now I'm close to 15k, so not lasted long. I had thought about scrubbing these ones off as an excuse to buy some shiny nice new wheels with some nice new tyres on them, but can't afford the wheels at present. Don't get me wrong they do still grip, just not so much in the wet or ice, so I use my van instead. I'm off to a garage tomorrow for some boot struts so I'll get checked professionally then. Sacrificing the JWT and exhaust is a sensible idea for tyres, if it keeps snowing then I might just have to. Before something silly happens. Cheers.
  12. Oh and my car is the ever sexy Grey. If you see me you'll laugh at my Reg. And it'll probably be the back one you'll see if I'm 'on one'.
  13. Now then, I went to Atkins and had no probs. I think by the end of my service/MOT at least four of them had moved or driven in my car. They even washed it for me before I left for home! Not bad, Cheers.
  14. Yeah I know, but not until I have no choice due to danger or the law, as my car is only a weekend toy at best, and tyres a bloody expensive. How long should four tyres last me then (how many miles do you get out of yours) with regular fast/normal driving? Is six thousand miles silly low for a lifespan of four Bridestone potenzas? And the age old question, which brand should I get? I've picked up on this site that Michelin Pilot's are a favorite.
  15. Ha Ha, you're right about my tyres! I have approx 2.5mm on the front and border line on the rear- but what can you do!! Will the ECU affect a JWT and Cat Back then? Do I need a piggy back at this stage?
  16. Ah-but did your nova spin without dumping the clutch if you dropped it into third at 80? or in fifth coming out of a wet bend!? You may be right about the decats, I just panicked when I read it as I've been saving up for a while now so I can start spending on my car. Starting with a JWT and exhaust, and I have a quote from Wizards of NOS. _started wondering if it really was worth the bother and cost. Cheers.

  18. Yeah cheers. I read the thread, but still unsure how they are rated. They are on sale on ebay uk at the mo for less than £500 which I thought seemed reasonable. Only thing is, I got in touch with Blue Flame and asked for some pictures of fitment to a UK Z on a standard rear bumper, with photo's of the full exhaust sytem so I could see what I was buying before I paid, but they said they had no pics. This worried me a little so I never committed to buying one.
  19. Just sat and read a post regarding a guy who removed his standard silencer, and picked something up in a reply to him about losing low down torque but gaining only noise? Is it true that if I increase the backflow by adding for eg. a K1 with Y-pipe I'll ultimately make my cars performance worse?? Is this related to engine compression? How would I overcome this problem, or it it basically down to how much I cough up for one? I'm also in the process of talking our lass into buying me a JWT Popcharger for my birthday this month (along with some Eibach spacers might I add ), and now am really worried that my car will end up running like a diesel corsavan!? Is it worth the money, or will I only gain noise, and lose that ever so sexy wheel spinning torque?
  20. I'm going in circles with this one, don't know what to buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fitted a Blue Flame system on my R6 and it sounded mint! Not sure about the car sound though. I haven't read that any of you lot have a Blue Flame and wondered if anyone did have one. Nearly bought a K1 cat back, but a little too boy racer loud for my tastes. I want a quality rasp with some nice loud idle thudding, not a nuisance sound that you get on the nova crew!
  21. are these a good spring? or would eibach be better?
  22. How much do they lower the car by? Where are you living? I'm in North Yorkshire.
  23. nice one, I'll give them a call as otherwise Nissan in Hull want £250 for an oil and filter change and a MOT. NOT cheap!
  24. Yo, any one know of a decent place to get my Z serviced, and have her first MOT. I'm near to Driffield, YO25. Cheers.
