Abbey Motorsport are the guys to speak to about the traction control. I think they've done some development work on this sort of thing with MrLizards 350z race car.

1 What is a DE car (Abby refer to a DE 276 bhp car) There are 3 different types of engine used in the 350z. DE 276bhp (2003-2005), the 'Rev up' 296bhp (2006) and and the 313 bhp HR (2007+)

2 What is a REVUP car (are these cars that have had the Up Rev tuning done) (Abby refer to a REVUP 296bhp air box) Rev Up and Uprev are two different things. 'Rev up' refers to the middle of the 3 engines used in 350z's. Uprev is the software Abbey use to remap the ECU.

3 What are De cats These replace the standard catalytic converters and remove the cats allowing for a greater increase in power through tuning, although decats will not pass an MOT

4 What are resonated cats Resonated de-cats are the same as above but 'resonated' to reduce rasp and noise.

5 What is a Revup lower collector A product made by Motordyne that replaces the lower inlet manifold used to give a gain in mid-range torque. This is only needed in the 296 Revup engine.

6 What is an HR motor This stands for High Rev and is the used to describe the 313bhp engine

Your best bet is speaking to Abbey Motorsports (a trader on here).

If you're staying NA then high flow cats or decats and a free flowing y pipe with a remap will give you the best gains on a HR engine.

I was a big fan of the originals, but the more recent ones where just disappointing. I've got a sneaking suspicion that this new series will be equally dire

I've seen pics of this car before, and I must admit I agree with you. Ditch the accents and it would be cool. Remember guys, don't fear the pink!

£12k for 25 days of car ownership sounds like a bit of a ripoff to me. It would be cool to try all those different cars, but there are bound to be some that you end up not liking that much which makes it even worse value for money to me.

If you want the race car feel then I'd strip the interior, fit an aftermarket steering wheel such as this

and fit a cage. You can put foam padding around the cage to stop you hitting your head on it.

Maybe get the dash flocked too.

Might be worth contacting HKS to see if you can get a bracket for the Rev-up engine. Seems a shame to get rid of such a good quality kit.

I only get that smell when the air con is off. Having it on for a few minuets usually gets rid of it.

Could be the air con. I know I can get a bit of a smell from mine if it's not been used for a while.
