Just wondering what people use to stop seals sticking when freezing. Normally wipe a little wd40 over the seals. Any better suggestions?

Tbh I keep popping my head out the window to look at it. Such a beautiful looking car. I never thought when I first seen an r8 I'd ever get to drive one let alone own one lol. Hard work pays off. Know im bringing up an old thread but please god not these. I had a job done by them and it was awful. Basically bought a set of wheels and expected them to refurb them and powder coat. All they did was powder coat over the curbing plus 3 of the 4 wheels were buckled which i didnt know. Ended up taking them to 1st class alloys in Lichfield near me. Ace job everytime.

Get these from ebay, item 121605782921. They are genuine replacement blades and dont cost a bomb. I got 2 sets and replaced both front and the rear one as same size as passenger.

Hi Scooby, Welcome to the forum. I've had my 370z GT ultimate now since march and love it. Having had a 350z before it was the right choice for me. Mine has orange interior which i like as it seperates it from the standard zeds. Power wise its a very smooth power being a big grunty engine compared to the scooby, but it just has buckets of torque no matter what gear your in. With regards to the nismo, the mk2 i feel is sexy but the mk1, which i didnt used to like, i've grown to adore it. Just think its more in your face, but at the end of the day its personal to you. Def on the exhaust though, you will want to change it. Ive just fitted a 2015 nismo exhaust to mine and it suits me perfectly,tips dwarf the oem exhaust and most aftermarket looks awesome. The nismo should have more noise though than standard. Would i buy a brand new nismo over a used zed and mod to supercharger or turbo?? Probably not but its all a pipe dream for me anyway. You could have a stealth gtr killer for same money. But ultimately your choice. Try see a few before making your mind up. Hope this helps

I know this isnt everyones fave but if your looking for a cheap fix for an oem+ sound i think this is the way to go.

The only difference ive found is that it looks like the nismo has an extra piece of metal to lower the bolt hole to attach to the rear exhaust hanger on the back box. Any aftermarket exhaust probably wont need this as they will be made for the standard 370z which doesnt require this extra part. Hope this helps

For anyone who is thinking about a subtle exhaust upgrade having got this from a 2015 nismo I love it. Don't know of anybody else on here who has done this. I can understand people with nismos changing but really feel that this gives the car the noise and bit of performance it should have. Not overly loud just nice rumble on start up and growls on synhro rev. Love it. Just thought id give my thoughts if anyone else was considering. Plus its made by hks. Nice plaque on backbox 😊

Sounds and looks good. Looks like its natural. Ive been driving around freezing for last few days since ive had mine done with the window down all the time but so worth it.
