Hi everyone, I have to organise a Stag doo for around June time, and there has been talk of the UK, or Ireland or somewhere in Europe like Riga, Prague or similar..... Basically we have a good group of lads who want a bit of action like quad biking/buggies, clay pigeon/paint balling/shooting, go karting, etc...... you get the idea...... cheap beer and strippers obviously Anyone had any great experiences they can share and websites or contacts? Got it about a month ago, but not used the car as had knee operation....so only just got round to trying it with the ZED. Does anyone know of a decent bit of kit to connect the HTC Hero to the Stereo in the car? Maybe a USB connection kit etc? Cheers

Valid points valveman, and also by everyone on the forum........... but it still makes me wonder why the DVLA will sell one of these plates for £3520 and the other for £245..... Can we all guess which is the more expensive?...................... Thats right the one that looks like it says something

what is the legal limit round the edge of the plate? ie how much can you cut off close to the lettering? I might chop mine down a bit (the correctly spaced ones that is) as they have a lot of overhang

So the fine went up as we were told in Wales, but they didn't give you any points for it? No points, a £60 fine..........but as say been driving around for 4 years with these plates and not pulled once. I'm either lucky by sounds of it or............... well, they are having a crack down. They are going to make a killing if they are, I have a 5 mile drive to work and see about 10 dodgy private plates a day, uaually different ones when stuck in traffic............ might try and get an invite to the DVLA/Policemans ball think it will be a good one this year!! true............. it will hurt the DVLA in the long run as people wont buy plates like BO 11 OCK if they cant respace it

yeah thats what my old man had with one of his plates.......... just an MOT centre producer, he is now back on old plates......... hopefully he won't get done too!!

Bollocks!!! Just got pulled for my plates I have had on my car for 4 years like this, by an unmarked BMW 5 series............. Fine £60 and given 1 strike apparently............. 3 and they take my plates of me!! I have been given 28 days to pay the fine and 14 days to change my number plates to correct spacing, apparently his gun couldnt pick them up, and then I was told if the car was stolen blah blah blah we are doing you a service blah blah blah its easier to catch criminals............ hmmmm thanks Quick pop round my Grans house and arrest her, I think last time she was shopping at Asda she ate a grape out the bag before paying why is it a plate has a value on it as posted on the DVLA site?? Why is it K1 NGS is worth over £100,000 and the DVLA will sell it to you? Surely if it didnt look 'like' something it would only be worthless, but the DVLA (according to the bobby in blue) are apparently now having a mass crackdown on these types of plates............ now they have sold them all to people out there and made billions of pounds in profit!!! Hi all, took my car in for a service at Nissan and came away with a noise. After much discussion Nissan have said it is nothing they have done and it could be a fuel pump issue but they have never come across this issue before and fixed it, only seen it before on a 2006 350Z that had done 60,000 miles. Mines a 2004 54 and done just over 16,000, they said it would be 2 hours labour to investigate the job at £75 hour and then total job cost £1000 to change the fuel pump............. however this may still not resolve the issue!!! gee thanks Nissan, so you want me to pay £1150 to possibly NOT fix and issue!!! So as per usual I though I would have a look and ask the trusty guys/gals on 350z-uk.com So..........been reading some posts think I might have the fuel Damper issue re this post viewtopic.php?f=10&t=24433&hilit=fuel+damper How simple is this to fix for starters, is it a job someone can do who is fairly handy with a spanner? And should I go back to nissan with this extra information as is it a possible parts claim? See attached pdf file, Any help much appreciated, thanks Larsdowg

Been running on Falken 452's now for about 500 miles thank everyone for the replies, I managed to get the Front for just over £110 and the rears for about £115 Pushed it in the wet and also in the dry (to the best of my driving ability that is ) and am pretty chuffed with them........ different feel to the BStones but when you get used to it they are a sound circle of rubber! Thanks again and happy everyone!! LarsDowg

Interesting reading......... think I will buy some Falkens and give it a go, summer should be ok if I have issues I can always get the fronts swapped as well they have got load on tread left on them though so think I will wait and see how unhappy the ZED feels or watch this space Larsdowg

I wouldn't let any one from halfords touch my zed I don't even think I would let one of them stand next to it!!!!
