  1. Hi all, having issues with my windscreen washers, they have got progressively worse over the last 2 months and now seem to be 95% blocked. I get a slight dribble out the end. The rear washer still works and the headlight washers, I don't think it’s the pump. Has anyone created a walkthrough for taking the pipes off and cleaning them through? Assume there’s crap in the pipes, but not sure where it would have dragged that from? Then all I need is someone willing to suck my pipe clean, and get a mouthful of nasty fluid!! I'd ask the wife but don't think she will fall for it twice!! Any help with the washers, much appreciated Cheers
  2. where are you based there was a guy who did a full dip and strip service on mine in Nottingham area, took 3 days and I have had the wheels on my car for 2 years......... unmarked still, no pealing or blemishes!! NOT JUST WHEELS Check out the pics for a step by step...... http://www.facebook....71207109&type=3 Not Just Wheels - Richard Munt http://www.notjustwheels.co.uk/
  3. I did mine in Skyline Gunmetal grey and they look awesome..... in my humble opinion See thread: http://www.350z-uk.c...owg#entry618597 The company I used sprays them rather than powder coats them, its a really good finish! http://www.facebook....71207109&type=3 Not Just Wheels - Richard Munt (he's a really good guy) http://www.notjustwheels.co.uk/
  4. Hi there, you might find my previous post of interest and the choice of colour I made: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=40982&hilit=larsdowg Let me know if you need any other info.... They are still unmarked and looking great btw after 2 winters! I love them, think it really sets of the car Lars
  5. Update: I checked the oil level the same day and even though the service was recently done it was about 1/2 litre down.... Topped it up and all good now, thankfully.... thanks everyone for your comments and help its much appreciated as per usual Cheers Lars

  8. Morning all, I have a 2004 350Z GT with 21,000 on the clock.....its ginger but dont hold that against me! On the way to work this morning it started doing this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lPWY1S4erg (not my video by the way, just an example) I had a full service about a month ago and the plugs all changed.... I havent checked the oil level yet, will do this tonight. Could it be a dial issue or an oil pump issue, or other? If so does anyone know about how I go about checking these myself..... I'm sure mine usually sits in the middle of the dial, what should the norm psi be running at? Thanks everyone in advance Lars

  10. ha ha loved your post!! Did make me chuckle
  11. Spot on thanks Alex ..... I'm just having a chat with a local garage who has been highly recommended by a lot of people at work. I will get a quote for service and plug fitting (and drop you a PM re buying Iridium plugs) depending on what they come back with...... Otherwise might wait until it a bit better weather and do them myself next year thanks Lars
  12. Afternoon everyone, just booking a P3 service with Nissan for my 2004 350Z thats done 22,000 miles. Price is £315 which I didnt think was bad, however they have suggested £220 to have my spark plugs changed........... I think 22,000 is too low mileage to change the plugs? Anyways that aside I am fairly handy with the spanners, is it something I can do myself and if so does anyone have a workshop manual and can tell me what plugs to buy? Any help appreciated Cheers Lars
  13. I am still proper chuffed with them, they have already been through 1 winter and about to go through another and still looking like they where refurbed yesterday. I would without a doubt go back to Richard at Not Just Wheels, and have future wheels sprayed rather than powder coated. The finish as you can see from the pics is just awesome! Really sets off my Ginger Datsun
  14. Hi there, yeah it was 'not just wheels' in Notts by a guy called Richard...... hes just moved to a new site so drop him an email. Told him I was really happy with them and would post on the 350Z site pics if he send me prep pics. My brother in law is going to get his VW Toureg wheels done in the same colour by him when he gets time. Price is in first part of post. He also fitted 2 Front Falken F452's cost about £90 each and he didnt charge me for fitting or balancing/valves etc as I he was already removing the rubber in the price! Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.
