  3. I was just about to ask about a clutch flywheel problem... I know my flywheel needs doing just waiting till the clutch goes, previous owner did it no me! I heard it was best to match clutch and flywheel from same company is this true? Also read people saying not to put a lightened flywheel on the Z'd due to something or other lol
  4. I got clocked under 'heavy' braking at 111mph and got given a 56day ban and £450 fine but no points. Although at the time I spotted the sneaky pol's hiding on a slip road I was off the clock... that was my first and only offence and am now a reformed driver
  5. How come the blog stops in 2006....
  6. I know, I just hate when people talk complete rubbish about cars! He's prob never even driven one, its just what he's heard from a mate of a mate of a mate, or his mothers brothers sisters fathers sons uncles neice lol
  7. That guy on the link is a muppet! I want to slap him and teach him how to drive. The 350z is a great drivers car, I love the twitch it makes my drive so much fun! Some people huh
  8. I really think you all need to check what you are being charged, the DVLA office keep messing up the new rates and placing cars in the wrong band. I urge you all specially T8 JPE who just paid the incorrect amount to speak with your local DVLA office and get this sorted!! PLEASE READ THIS!! http://www.parkers.co.uk/news/Road-tax/ ... x-changes/ and this (although you may want to change it slightly for your particular Z'd http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/road-tax/?deriv=25156 hope this helps save someone some hard earned cash
  9. JIM - word of warning... the DVLA office keep messing the new bands up, you must ensure that your car is placed in the correct band, I advise you to get 6months at the cheeper current rate, then renew in march for a year and the second rate and then finally in 2010 you would need to pay the £400!!

  12. Its the heated seated buttons for me too, I don't notice till I start getting rather warm at the back lol
  13. It looks pretty well looked after, or the kit is very new as you can see no marks on the inner parts where stones and tar would normal land, plus most cars abroad have atleast 5 good dents in them by the time they are delivered from the Stealership! Looks like espania to me... could be wrong tho I like the Nismo spoiler but those rear spats just look to stuck on... why didn't Nismo do a complete rear lip!?
  14. Maybe the who ever it is, is wondering why you sent him an N
  15. Just a quick note to an admin bod, just looking for some detailing products and found that Muddy Detail no longer does car detailing... You might want to remove this one from the list

    Braking query

This happens from cold and warm, my foot spends 99% of its time on the gogo peddal so I'm pretty sure its not me warming the disks and pads, I pull the handbreak up whilst traveling occasionally to clear the rears a bit extra and that seems to fix it a tiny bit. Could it be a stuck piston doing it!?. I don't get any sterring wheel judder, just literaly the car (hard to explain but..) feels like its braking say 30% then 20% then 30% then 20% during a single rotation of the wheel without any change to the pressure of the break peddal. Its a weird feeling, I think a check for air might be a good call though...

    Braking query

I'll keep my eye on the handbrake and keep it pulled all the way up. What about the general braking though, I also notice its not an issue under hard braking, only soft...

    Braking query

Hi just a quick one, When gently slowing down I notice the brakes seem to catch and then let go during the rotation of the wheels, I recently had a P2 service at Nissan and they advised that I have about 5-6k miles left on the current pads. Also when applying the handbrake once stopped, when I let go of the foot peddle the car seems to shift slightly till the brakes catch. Is this just me or the Z'd or do I need to get new pads/disks both!?!? Cheers for any help! May save me visiting a hedge!
  21. Cheers M13KYF Now I just have to start scanning the site for ideas really fancy a proper rear spoiler and some sides! Thanks all for your more than welcome welcome
