Underside of the Zed is probably one area that gets very little attention, if any due to access. If I had a pit, or ramps I would clean under my Z once a month.

toyos are bloody horrible; ran them on a previous car and it weas like driving on jelly; the side walls are very soft with lots of tyre roll. might be alright with a very low profile but i don't rate them and wouldn't use them again.

 

vredesteins would be my first choice if you had more cash then the MPS2's

 

others love them but i think they're gash

Toyo`s dont really suit the Zed due to it being a heavier car. I had them on my previous CTR and they were awesome! true they had softer sidewalls, and gave you a smoother ride than the 040`s, but IMO the Zed needs a tyre with stiff sidewalls to complement its handling characteristics.

I guess what the real issue is, does it really matter 30 or 40?

Shame to see it go, one of the Nicest Zeds...EVER.

Fifth Gear is far more reality car orientated

There seems to be a lean toward the 5W 30 viscosity, is this much different from the 5W 40?

Zeds favour 98 octane as satndard, but I always put in tescos 99 ron or V-Power, but ESSO and BP top fuel goes to 97 ron only, wonder if in the long term this is ok or not??

Been using Performance friction discs with ENDLESS pads, no squeal, and I pootle all week, all day!!

The next thing is my wheels are not coated in VERY thick brake dust that will not budge after putting so many different types of wheel cleaners on them for example... Autoglym wheel cleaner, Nano Xtreme Wheel Cleaner, Halfords Advanced Wheel Cleaner. I still have big great horrible black parts along the spokes of the rays, i fear its so bad ill have to refurb, although the rears clean up fine.

Since getting my RAYS I have kept them clean every otherday if car is used, no probs with corrosion, brake dust pitting etc.

Really? Its Autobrite's snow foam,and its great stuff to use,dont smell bad either.

I have VALET PRO`s snow foam, PH balanced too
