i suppose it depends on where in the UK you are. you're london based jerry, and costs can often be higher.

I had "fun" in it in my own way! You dont have to drive it in the manner you suggest to have fun? its served me very well!

Dear ALL,

This is the saddest week for me as I have sold the Z (going tomorrow Sunday) and have to get a car that is more practical and fuel economic for the needs of my buisness!

I have very fond memories of organising some really great meets and making some great friends along the way, the guy getting my car will be a very lucky guy with my Z...04 plate bought 3 years ago with 21034 miles, now with 32500 miles ONLY, oil changed every 3K miles or earlier, never tracked, ragged, or drifted and those of you who have seen my Z in the flesh will know how clean and spotless it always is! I WILL MISS IT SO MUCH

I would like to thank everyone for all the help and advice given during my ownership, and perhaps one day another Zed will find its way into my care.

Guys, Just wanted to wish you ALL a very good meet and drive around Brighton. Had hoped that my mums flight was put back a day, but alas it has not.

Im there in spirit guys, remember the Blade Zed from Hooley

My mum is in Singapore on hoilday at the moment. Yesterday I got a phonecall from her, and aparently she`s had a fall in a super market car park, tripped over on a speed bump of all things! She fell very awkwardly causing injuries to her chin, face and more serious her tendons in her right hand. Due to lack of medical insurance, she was treated at a minor injury clinic, and paid for an x-ray which I think, luckily showed nothing broken, however, due to the tendons tear/sprain/strain she has very little movement in her right hand/arm which obviously is very worrying. The clinic advised she should have an MRI scan, but as you may know these scans are very,very expensive, so declined in singapore due to the cost!

So now instead of coming home in April, she has had to re-book her flight to come home next SUNDAY which is of course the day of the Brighton meet!! This now puts me in an awful position regarding the meet as I had planned to be there, but now have to pick her up from the airport and see for myself what damage has been done, and whether she needs to go to A&E or her GP.

I thought everyone should know.

Jerry, I had 2x 8800GTS too, and have ripped them out and replaced with a single GTX470.

 

Gutted tho, cos I bought the EVGA Hydrocopper Edition GTX470 (comes with mounted waterblock) for an eyewatering £475 (yes, one card, does not cook breakfast)

 

Have also been running an Antec Quattro 850W for the last two years with no issues, since it has to power OC'ed CPU and two waterloops, let alone the GFX card.
