Thanks for all info.
a couple of months ago I had JDM WIND DEFLECTORS stolen of my Type-R outside my house on my drive FFS!! They had the so-called"STRONG GLUE" but that didnt stop the opportunist thief..Ive been sad and upset ever since, not to mention £120 lost.

So the NISMOs are the WHOLE PILLAR??
-
Thats great, must be really strong glue!!
CS have you got genuine Nismo ones for sale?
Jerry

Hey Guys,
Been thinking about getting the NISMO CARBON B-PILLAR BITS, are these going to be safe on the Z or could they be stolen easily by pulling off?? They are bloody expensive from what I have seen, so a bit worried
Cheers

Hi Martin,
Thanks for that!!
I feel a sad loss for my beloved CTR, and last night I was putting in the standard seats, Rear spoiler, it felt quite emotional, as Ive looked after her for over 3 and half years
Exhaust system, Manifold, Brakes, ARB, off next tuesday.
Just over 2K in mods will be sold.
Onto pastures new...

Hi to all once again!!!
I am pleased to announce that after a little searching and saving, I have finally bought what I believe to be the SILVER Z of my dreams!!
Its an 04 plate with 12K miles, one lady owner, and FULL NISSAN service history, from a NISSAN dealer for £10.5K. its not a GT version, but has an uprated 6- disc cd changer, Near Mint bodywork and Interior, Tonneau cover, Titanium Exhaust system, and a wider PLENNUM something??
Anyway, what do you think guys?
I am busy returning my TYPE-R BACK to standard, and there has been a Mad rush to get hold of all my SPOON and Mugen goodies
Insurance for me on the Z has worked out at £477 Fully comp, Protected no-claims, Mods declared, breakdown cover, excess £250 plus legal cover etc.

Hi Guys,
Looks like I missed a cool meet! Some lovely Zs all lined up.
I am looking forward to the next one, Martin, there are NO Honda Meets planned so nothing in the way!
The tunnel run must have been awesome...
Jerry

I havent got my Z yet But if its ok, I will come up and meet the guys in my CTR, perhaps with my friend who also has a CTR but loves the Z.
Jerry
-
I suspect it was a standard CTR? Many of my Charged CTR mates have had a few plays with Zs...
Jerry
-
Thats Great! Maybe we should organise a Local meet...?
Jerry
-
AWESOME...Got to get mine really soon!!!!!
-
This is the biggest welcome ever...for me!!
Thanks and hope to meet a few of you at the next Z meet, be really interesting to get some views on cost to run, insurance ,parts etc..
But judging from my mods done on the CTR I imagine it is going to be a costly hobby!
Do you guys know SPOON,MUGEN, Js Racing etc? silly question, but thought I`d ask, I know NISMO very well
PS. my CTR has been referred to as "A Spooned up - Track whore EP3"!!
LOL
Jerry

Thanks Guys!! What a WARM WELCOME INDEED!!
I was going to charge my CTR, BUT decided to get the Z..
Sorry I couldnt make the Mini meet at LAKESIDE tonight!!
Jerry
-
Would love to go, But can I turn up in my TYPE-R??
Be great to see all the 350Zs..
Jerry
-
Thanks Guys!!
I forgot to mention that I was also responsible for the HONDA CIVIC TYPE-R OWNERS BLUEWATER MEET organiser, some of you may recall in BANZAI Magazine a few months ago, reading an article entitled
"HOT IMPORT NIGHT" about the Honda Meet, at Bluewater which was probably the largest enthusiast meet attracting at its best, over 200
Hondas and the odd Z! Anyway, my CTR has been featured in the magazine and maybe, just maybe a few of you may know of my CTR and the Bluewater Meets!!

Just wanted to say a BIG Hello to ALL on the forum.
I am awaiting delivery of my newish 06 PLATE 350Z in blue. I currently own a HONDA CIVIC TYPE-R 02 Plate for the last 3 years, and I love and will miss my CTR very much, but the 350Z will be a step up.
My CTR is modded with BHP up to 232, fast road set up, Spoon exhaust, jackson racing manifold, Spoon Brakes, ITG Maxogen intake, engine damper, strut bars front and rear, lower tie bar, Mugen rear wing.
Anyway, will keep you posted once I get my Z!!

Posted
Hi Guys,
Just got my latest Z goodie from AMAZON!
NISSAN 350Z: Resurrection of a Legend.
Been flicking through this superb book telling the whole Z history, its developement, design, concept etc!
What a fantastic book, got absorbed into it, and know a little more about the car and how it pulled Nissan out of the slumps back to the top!
I suspect some of you have read or got the book..
Any thoughts? I love it!!!
