no not everytime. my brother thought he was doing me a favour by taking it to his father in laws garage and getting it done cheap for me, it feels like the ABS is kicking in sometimes it does it sometimes it dont

sometimes when im braking just before the car comes to a stop i can feel like a grinding feeling coming through the brake pedal. the only way to describe it is it feels like the ABS is kicking in , it only does it every so often not every time, ive been away with work and whille i was away my brother borrowed the car and my red stuff pads went so he had some blue print ones fitted, i was just woundering if anyone had any advice on what it could be. thanks

i just reversed into a lamp post last week but thankfully it was in the works car feel for you mate hopefully it will not cost to much to fix

ive got standard non bose ones at the moment so im just looking for something which sounds better and can handle a bit of bass

Ive got a JVC KW-AV810 and was going to upgrade my door speakers. I havent got a clue when it comes to electrics but I'm going to try and instal it myself. I'm after a decent set of speakers which will fit in the door with out to much trouble has anyone got any ideas please

just spoke to the garage ive got it booked in tomorrow they seem to think its the handbrake shoes also getting the MOT done so hopefully it wont be too expensive

The car is on 55000 miles and the 2mm is on the inner pad. I'll put it in the garage next week and let them sort it.

The pads were ok I'll just put in the garage on Monday and let them Sort it out. It's confusing the hell out of me now. Thanks for all the advice though

Just been to check the pads on the car I've got at least 2mm on the pads and now it's stopped making the noise going forward but it's constant when reversing. Has anyone got any ideas

just finished work so ill wait for it to stop raining then go and give the brake pads a good check, hopefully it will just be the pads and nothing more serious

evrything seemed fine no juddering, my mate fitted them for me he works for nissan i might get them fitted somewhere else next week, ill take it to my local garage and explain it to them and get them to check everything out

no track days just motorway driving cardiff to bristol everyday, ive just spoken to cs going to order some new ones next week. just need to get the wheels off to see how bad the pads are all around

Hi everyone just after some advice. i broke down last night and spent 3 and half hrs on the side of the M49. i was getting a scrappong noise coming from rear drivers side wheel, any way the recovery guys check my car and say my brake pads are low on the outside pad so are probably down to the metal on the inside pads i bought non brembo redstuff ones in june. i do about 500 miles a week i was just wondering if it could be the pads or are they talking rubbish. i just thought the pads would of lasted longer than that im stuck in work so cant get to the car till next week to find out

To late i just tried wiping the sensor... reconnected everything and the light was still on. so i done an ECU reset and everything seems fine now.... thats the last time i do that again, next time im going to buy a new filter.. Thanks for all your help guys....

cheers guys ill give the MAF sensor a wipe hopefully it will work, the car seems to be running fine though,

Hi everyone i was wondering if anybody could help. i bought a pop charger a year ago from ESR who fitted it every thing was working fine. ive just cleaned it using K&n Filter cleaning kit and now the engine management light is on. Is this normal till the car gets used to it, also is the car ok to drive like this, Thanks in advance for any help Carl
