has anybody had the ECU remapped would you recomend it or what would be the best way to start getting some more power out of the car

I have a 53 plate Jdm roadster wold i be right in saying the Bhp is 280 the same as a uk versiom or do imports have more power

i bought my 350Z about 3 months ago and had a clicking noise coming from the rear drivers side wheel when lighty pressing the brake at slow speeds. the garage couldn't find what the problem was and said it was nothing to worry about which i wasn't happy about so after some letters threatening them with court they decided to have another look. they changed the discs which stopped the noise for a bit but then it came back so it went back in and then they said it was because the brake pads were loose and rattling because there was no copper grease behind the pads so they applied some which for the past 3 months there has been no noise but now i think it is coming back does this sound right to anyone

i got ripped of then........never mind im off to spain for a week tomorrow but when i get back ill be on the phone to you for a jwt popcharger and possibly brakes as they havent stopped squeaking not sure if they need changing or not havent had a chance to look yet but ill give you a ring when i get back. cheers phil

Ive got a JDM 53 roadster with ray's and 225's on the front and 235's on the rear. Ive been reading through the threads and realised they should be 245 on the rear as im going to have to change the tyres soon i was wondering does 245 apply to import 350Z's as well or just the uk ones

Hi everyone does anybody know where i could get a outside window scraper from as i snapped the one on my car and nissan want £140 for a new one. its just that little bit of plastic trim at the top of the door and the bottom of the window. hope you can understand what it is from the way i have explained it. thanks

cheers for the replies at least i know now nissan of cardiff told me it was 30,000 at least now i know why everyone says never take your 350 to the nissan dealer they havent got a clue

Hi everyone ive got a 2003 sunset roadster JDM and was wondering does anybody know when the belts need changing as i keep on getting told 30,000 and then somebody else said 70,000 ive only done 30.000 so not sure if i should get them changed or not. Any Ideas

cheers for the replies i might just wait till they have worn down then i was just under the impression that once they started smoking they were damaged and no good anymore

I need help i live in cardiff but work in bristol and use my 350Z to commute. last week i pushed it a bit to far because some idiot in a astra vxr was flashing me anyway i left him behind but a couple of miles down the road my brakes started smoking. so i think its about time to upgrade the brakes anybody know what would be the best and how much would it cost. ive got a 2003 roadster non-brembo(jdm)

Im going to keep the screen sorry mate going to try the sat-nav unit from an xtrail to see if that works been told it just plugs straight in where the jap one is and works fine

welcome to the site mate. ive just bought a 53 import i had the same problem with the sat-nav. to get it working it was going to cost over a grand so i just bought a JVC-8100 works great with the car and it plays dvd- divx mp3 all the usual and you can also connect free-view to it, this only cost £390 and £100 fitting. the problem with the phone buttons on the steering wheel could be the person who had it before you had an aftermarket stereo fitted to the car but put the original one back in to sell it and didn't bother connecting it up properly maybe worth a look and the phone craddle should be situated in the centre console just behind the hand brake which should be a twisted cable with a connection on the end. im not sure but i think this is useless to british phones. i just bought a parrot hands free kit which works fine if you need any more help let me know

Was going to buy an imprezza sti but thought it looked to much boy racer so i decided on a 350Z and i think i made the right choice.
