  1. Another good point there Steve, thats why i wasn't so worried about mileage on mine, as i was using it as the odd weekend driver. A full service history and not many owners sealed the deal on my two Zeds.
  2. No don't say that Mac, wait until i've bought mine first
  3. There is a few newbies on here looking for a 350z GT for less than £10,000 with no more than 50,000 miles on the clock. It's virtually impossible to find this spec at the moment. Well, as some of you know i sold my 54 plate for £9200 but it had 83,000 miles on the clock. Even so, the car still runs like new and i'm sure the new owner will agree with me there!! Here is a car i viewed whilst looking for a zed, to replace the one i wrote off in May of this year> http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1043034.html The reason i didn't buy it was only because it was out of my price range of £11250 when it was up for sale in June. At the time it had 72k on the clock and apart from the price i would have bought it there and then. The guy was really nice and genuine and the car was stunning. He wasn't too fussed about selling it as he loved it and thats why he would'nt come down on price at the time. Now with another 5000 miles on it he's readvertised it, and goddam it, if i had the spare cash i would snap it out of his hands. An 05 for less than £10000 With cars of this caliber, mileage isn't so important. As with all cars, as long as it's been well looked after and serviced to the book then it will serve you well for a long way past the magic 100k mark. The 350z being no exception with the almost bullet proof and torquey 3.5 v6 engine. I've had two high mileage zeds now and i can't understand why there is such a stigma attached to these "mega" mileage cars? I never had a days trouble with either car in the year and a half of zed ownership. Ok it wasn't a long time, and i may be one of the lucky ones, but still!! I'm sure there's a lot of owners out there who would agree with me, and loads more who wouldn't. But just remember, you can pay upto 15k for an '05' with low mileage and then spend a lot more on top modding it and changing bits that are still in good condition. Or you could spend less than 10k for a high miler and have 5k spare to do as you please and still have the car of your dreams. I know which one i prefer Don't get me wrong, i'm not dissing owners with low mileage zeds. I'm just trying to make potential new owners realise that if they have a certain budget then they shouldn't dismiss the high mileage Zeds either. Thoughts please!!
  4. Go on, step up and be the first I am sorely tempted, just blown almost a grand on an ice upgrade tho so a bit short right now Do tell what you've had fitted in me old zed, Mac.
  5. To get your dint out then why not give Craig782 a pm. He runs a company called Dentwizard and he is very good. He did my first zed and i couldn't see the repair again.
  6. Any interest in viewing or buying more items before i advertise them elsewhere? Can't see me going to CS's now as the rally day is on at Castle coombe and it isn't as far to drive. Been every year since it started and enjoyed everyone
  7. I have a full standard exhaust system for sale if needed.
  8. Just 2 Iridium spark plugs left, wiil sell these for a tenner if anyones interested, and the ally trim vents are sold PS Don't forget if there's enough interest i'll be going to CS's open day with the bits thats left, cheers
  9. There's quite a few of us on here that should of gone that way
  10. Definitely its looks. More than happy with the performance as well
  11. You really need to get hold of the owner for this as he should be signing the log book. This sounds very dodgy.
  12. That does sound good. Will definitely be getting a quote when we are ready for this.
  13. Here you go> http://www.courtesyparts.com/plug-and-c ... _881_1238&
  14. That does sound interesting, will have to look into this for our next group buy. Obviously the seller in America would have to go through you i presume?
  15. Have you pm'd MacW? he was online earlier. Worth a shot
  16. Any videos of Piquet's crash out there?
  17. Thats very impressive, he's gonna be a petrol head for sure when he's older.
  18. At least when you go there to collect you can have a good look at the fire before parting with any cash. If you know a plumber, then that would be a godsend if he could view it with you. Not much goes wrong with gas fires, it's usually the installation that can cause problems, or a blocked flue/chimney. Just check that any seals are intact and the gas connector fitting is in good order. While you are there talking to the seller, see if he'll offer a guarantee if you find a problem when the fire is installed. If the fire is perfect then he should agree to it.
  19. Congrats Stan and Lucy. When i found out my other half was pregnant begining of last year i did exactly the opposite and bought my first Zed I figured that i already had a family car and would need something for weekend cruising to give us a break from the routine nappy changing, feeding, winding etc etc, while granny babysitted. Unfortunately lack of work made me sell the zed, but i will be back , and my little boy will be a regular passenger with me. So if you can afford to keep it then do so, but if you are getting bored of the car which i doubt, then the sale of your car will keep the babba in nappies for quite some time
