Florida seems to have every kind of Z except the one meet you're trying to find. Those wheels on a truck must've looked properly odd though :D

Are you three all AI? 😱

Nissan's biggest problem is they seem to react years after everyone else has picked a lane. A hybrid Z or proper small coupe would at least give the badge some life here, but it feels like Sunderland crossovers are the whole plan.
-
Those rear arch repairs can turn into a proper little project, but handy having the skills for it. Looking forward to seeing it once the fresh wing is on
-
An S14a to a 370 is a pretty natural Zed progression. Eight years is a decent spell too, these cars clearly get under your skin.
-
Selling it after it's proved itself like that feels a bit backwards, but those memories are the part no buyer gets to take with them.

350Z

Mine did that until I changed the audio output setting from AMP to LINE, the factory defaults are properly random. Avril being preloaded is the real warning sign though
-
Monaco's a decent tick off the list, even if the dam got the photo op instead :D

I used to have a S14a 200SX, so I was generally a fan of Nissan's more sporty cars really. I test drove a 350Z back in 2006, so I knew I needed a Zed in my life at some stage. I've now had my 370 for 8 years next year.

Welcome, any plans or just winging it?

Welcome Owen!

Hi, missed me? Some more stuff done. Headlight lenses changed, finally! Underglow done, replaced undertray with aluminium, added carbon fibre radiator air guide. I don’t like being this busy at work, but somebody has to pay the bills…

The auction price is only the easy bit, by the time shipping, duty and VAT land it stops looking quite so reasonable. Still barely seen any on UK plates, so they'd definitely turn heads.
-
Those big trips are exactly what make a Z hard to part with, the memories end up being half the car.
-
That CMAK kit really earns its keep, 3,000 miles round France is a proper test rather than just a few local runs. Bet the car will be a tough one to let go after a trip like that.

Anyone fitted one of these and had problem with volume control? Just put one in and it blasts full volume on lowest settings. What's worse is that it came from the factory with an Avril Lavigne song in it 😭
-
That 30% on top kinda kills the whole cheap at auction angle tbh, add the container and you're basically at UK dealer money anyway.

the Supra being basically a 3 series in a cooler shell is exactly the thing that puts me off it, tough to unsee once someone says it out loud.

2020 Supra, but then my mate pointed out how everything was the same as his 3 series BMW

Price plus 30% and optional 3-4k for container. I did think customs was currently 0% but HMRC discretion but appears not

A thread exists discussing this. Market for Zed is near non existent. While cars like Alpine can sell 1700 a year in UK and 8000 more in EU. The Zed wont sell over a couple of hundred. One of the reasons not much evolution in it since 350Z....Its not a new car, parts bin, old chassis. Also design is a marmite one for many The future is basically SUVs, trucks for US and Middle East and a badly run company that gets dropped by Renault. In UK Electric crossovers and SUVs made in Sunderland . There may be a hybrid version of the next generation Z or smaller displacement replacement for Silvia to appease the nostalgic fans. The current Z will continue to 2030.....The 2016 engine doesn't meet Euro 7 and do they have money to make the necessary adjustments? Since the declaration of trying to bring to the UK what progress has been made? It seems complicated. By the time the full circle and realization of EV maxing out at 30% market share happens itll be too late. Theyll be far behind the curve as they were with the Leaf when Tesla arrived with the model S. Other manufacturers have reverted back to ICE and ICE hybrid offerings. Nissan retooled factories and committed to EV back in 2021?! They need new ownership, they dont know what they're doing. They need owners who can concentrate on export market and prioritize European markets taking advantage of the bias against Chinese manufacturers using Japanese identity and European manufacturing bases.

Welcome to any offers btw! It’s hard to estimate the market, the car is going soon regardless so it would be nice to sell it to someone who will appreciate it instead of it going to an auction 🥲
