19 inch bridgestones

Pair of 285/35/19 bridgestone Potenza S001 off my old nismo, they have 4mm of tread on them except on one section on each tyre which has 3.8m, £60 the pair, (Pick up from northants area, or can post for £20)

I assume by the tread pattern they are RE050A?

I have edited the the add again as when i got to work and checked them I found they were the S001 and not the RE050A and I have lowered the price a bit,

Tempted, but just wondering if all the fitting and balancing hassle is worth putting 3.5mm boots on the rear..

I know what you mean, I thought they were quite low and also wanted to try a different tyre to see if I could get some of the cabin noise lowered with a different type of tyre (which made no difference) then when I took them of they were only about half worn and I have could have got another 4/5ooo miles out of them,

Re the new tyres did you change them for MPSS?

 

Problem for me is the wear rates on the rears being much higher than the fronts, to the tune of 2mm currently

I looked for the lowest noise rating tyre I could find but not buying a budget tyre (went for goodyears in the end ) but still had lots of tyre noise,
