Sammicd Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Hi all, Help! Just had a complete regas , they checked the system and said all was good with no leaks. Worked well and Blew cold for a few hours before blowing warm again. Any ideas guys? Or did they just not check it properly 1st time? Thanks Sam Quote

veilside z Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Start the car up in idle position then hit the air con on. The rev counter should raise the revs slightly. This will determine if the system is operating correctly first. Quote
gareth29 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 they cant know there isnt a leak unless theyve checked for one - it sounds like a leak - can they tell you how much refrigerant they took out before they refilled it then compare that with whats left when you take it back in Quote
Keyser Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Could be the compressor is a bit weak or the pulley isn't engaging correctly, the pulley has a slip release system to reduce drag at high RPM. Just a thought - I have a spare one laying around if you want to swap it to test that theory Quote
